I try to emotionally detach from my DInc but other than the occasional random restart (which I'm pretty sure is ROM related anyway) I can't complain too much. Hang in there - you'll get some Ice Cream love soon.

That's the thing...the VZ version does have its 4G LTE logo on it. We saw that on the phone that made the video of the beach in the launch presentation. It's on the back.

I just happen to be going on a family trip which starts on the 16th and ends in early Decemeber, during which I will probably not be able to pick up this phone. Yes, I'll agree that phones may be out of the box with ICS soon but 'soon' is really a relative term. How 'soon' is google going to release the code for ICS would be the real question. Just thinking out loud.

And why wouldn't you want to haunt the forums over the holidays - we are all friendly and will wish you a HappyMerryHannukwanzaChrismakus.

It will be interesting to see how it all pans out after the fact. I would venture to guess that if it is released after 11/17, it will be because it was out of their control (supply problem, software glitch, etc...).

You are over-thinking it. Most people who end up with the phone aren't scouring the internet looking for information. They will likely hear about it through the media campaign. There is a reason companies still advertise...it works.

In the mind of Verizon, only a handful are going to import from overseas.

I think the real, unasked question is "Yeah, but how do I bail quickly out of porn if the video is full screen?"

With a physical button, you can hammer feverishly away at the back button and pretend nothing is going on. At least, that is my understanding. Can you as quickly bail with onscreen buttons? A friend of mine wants to know...

Hidden cause it's not phone related - I live near the quarry that part of that was filmed at; and the entire movie theater cheered when they are on the highway and the cars pass under the sign for Saddle River Road cause that's on the highway that runs through town!!

I've been giving Siri some thought since a few guys at work have iPhone4s' and are quite proud to show it off. I'll admit it's cool BUT which is more useful, asking your phone what it's wearing or dictating a text, hands-off in real time?

I think the ICS feature is more practical though less flashy.

I will also say that Siri can say funny stuff. I was surrounded by iSheep on Saturday (6 of 8 women had an iphone - my mother and I are android and I won't let mom go sheep on me. lol) but we asked Siri 'Where do you hide dead bodies' - her answer was 'lakes, rivers, quarries, trunks'

Its funny, but you know there will come a day where in a murder investigation when the suspect is asked why he hid the body where he did, and he will respond, Siri told me to.

P.S. Han, if you are the one prosecuting this, please go after Apple as an accomplice. Please.

I had this happen last week to me.... I think one of the servers in their cluster probably did not get updated... still has the old picture... :) I am glad I am not the only one this has happened to.... :p
