I notice they didn't speak at all about the battery, battery life, talk time, surf time, etc.

Best Rezound accessory:

They are saving that talk for their announcement tomorrow of a new line of extended batteries developed with Snoop Dog.

I can feel a shift happening in this thread pretty soon.... It's going from "VZW when are you going to release the Nexus?!!? to.... "Order date 11/17 anybody get an update? Where is my phone?!?" "Fedex delivered to the wrong house!"

 Let us wallow in our blissful ignorance for just a little while longer, mmkay? ;)

That's what I'm counting on

If you think about it, there are at least 3 mods and 3 guides that are interested in this phone. This will be a well organized forum. :D

I look forward to seeing the same green and red - it's been fun so far and I think the next round should be a little easier on everyone. Hopefully less 'babysitting' and more general information

this^^ didn't anyone else notice that there was no talk about the batt life at the HTC event?! and this from a company that has a history of bad batt life in its devices?! and i've said this time and time again - add LTE and an HD screen - the biggest battery hogs - with a small batt in an OEM's device with a history of bad batt life - no way, no how am i getting on that Hindenberg.

edit: SmokeNMirrors and i are thinking along the same lines...(he/she is faster, tho :))

GNex: 5.33 x 2.67 x 0.35 (135.5 x 67.94 x 8.94 mm)

Razr: 5.15 x 2.71 x 0.28 (130.7 x 68.9 x 7.1 mm)

Rezound: 5.08 x 2.58 x 0.54 (129 x 65.5 x 13.65 mm)

That height on the Gnex always gives me pause for concern. I'm getting the Gnex, no doubt, but I wonder how my daily use will be effected compared to my current Dinc.

Not me, the guys at work had a running joke, because they all had 4.3 inch screen phones, and I had the Incredible. They even printed up a name badge for my cube with the nickname "3.7". Payback time in two weeks.

The only thing looking good on Rezound is probably camera. But actual performance and quality against Nexus still needs to be checked after release. And what's with 1620mAh battery? That 1.5Ghz MSM 8660 + Qualcomm LTE radio + HD screen would drink plenty of juice in no time.

One thing I like is the inductive charging. I think that is pretty cool, but not necessary.
