Man, reading through, Early must have been in a good mood, it seems like he thanked every post last night ;)... But really, excellent conversations last night, I know the Mods really enjoy it when informative, civil, and on-topic conversation occurs in a massive thread like this. Makes everyone look good. Hopefully we can finish this thread off in the same manner these last 13 days.

Informative and civil we can definitely do. On-topic......well, we try.

I know many of us were hoping to preorder this puppy, but it seems to me that we are running out of time. If the device does land on the 17th (knock on wood), that's now officially less than two weeks away. The RAZR's preorder was definitely much longer than 2 weeks. I don't remember from the iPhone 4, but my general sense is that you'd need over a week to have a successful preorder. Does anyone have an idea of the minimum amount of time we should expect?

It was a really good week, but would still like to hear from Verizon the 17th...just so I know for sure...I'd hate to get to the 15th and then my dreams be dashed once again...

Good Morning Gnexers! :D

Wow, it's FCC Friday, this thing is coming in 2 weeks, 1850 MAh battery... a good week it has been!

I'm gonna try and snag my "Source" if I can and try to verify the storage amount. 32GB would be icing on the cake for this thing.

EDIT: 1000+ Thanks! And it's taken me TWO YEARS to get it... I guess that goes to show how helpful I am

Does Verizon have any decent phones upcoming that don't cost an arm and a leg?

Your best bet is to watch the third party retailers, especially at black friday. Amazon, Best Buy, Wal-mart will all have sales with even these top tier phones at a good price.

That mystery spec tweak last week? 1850 mAh battery. Don't ask me how I know, but I do. :D

OP Updated with new battery spec here.

I know I'm late posting this (I'm still two pages behind, can't you guys learn to not post when I'm sleeping!:p), but jeez Steven, you made the good day that was yesterday even better!

All hail you the Source and any other Sources!

asked a while back but what do you guys think about us on att?

should i just buy an iphone 4s and sell it and buy the galaxy nexus full price for gsm?

Doesnt look to good coming to ATT.

Pre-order on the Razr started 10/27, launches 11/10 (or 11, but 10th is when the "ship by" date is). Anyway...that's only two weeks.

Wow, embarrassing. Thanks. I guess it felt like more than a week ago that the RAZR went on preorder.

Still, if we're going to get a preorder, it seems like that should start any day now (presuming we do launch on the 17th).

I hear ya. I'm sure if it isn't launching on the 17th, we'll know before the 15th. But yeah, no more heartbreaks Verizon!

If a preorder did happen, I would assume tenth or later. Verizon wouldn't want people canceling their Razr preorders. And remember the leak sai nov. 15th for when the promotional in store stuff could be shown, so we might not even here the official peep from Big Red till the 15th.

To be honest, I don't see us getting a preorder period. Conspiracy theories aside, Verizon definitely wants to give the Rezound the spotlight for at least a day after its release (the 14th), since the screenshot said that Verizon wouldn't advertise the Gnex until the 15th.

I was hoping for a one week preorder period from 11/10 to 11/17 but I don't think it'll happen anymore.

I don't know the process involved in selling a subsidized phone at full price, but if that works I'd go for it. I think it will be months before the G-Nex comes to other carriers.

Thanks for that. I was feeling like the Lone Ranger .. poker face .. or something. :D

Your question did provoke a thorough and clear explanation/tutorial. No mention of what she had for dinner though.

For OfTheDamned?

I'm guessing duck blood soup followed by a tasty blood pudding.

Man Early, do you sleep?

That question has confounded scientists and struck fear into the hearts of metaphysicists for years. And with that thought..

Gooooooood morning Nexicanians!

Yeah, I know the high end ones are going to cost an arm and a leg...I'm willing to pay it no doubt. My wife wants that HTC Rhyme but I refuse to pay $200 for a non-LTE, no dual core, gimmick phone that won't be supported beyond the current version of android that is running on it. I highly doubt it gets ICS and if it does...how well will it run it. I told her last night she was getting the Rezound or the Nexus.

Fans on both sides have uber-strong opinions - here's mine. :)

I am hard pressed to see anyone losing out with either choice.

Each one just so totally blows away the choices offered so recently that it seems like only yesterday. And the performance increases aren't even going to be funny.

If doubt persists, I suggest waiting until you can hold each side by side and see what your gut tells you is the best choice for you.

Meanwhile - you got it: check out the threads and see if something stands out.

Mods guarantee fair comparisons in all threads. And we promise that you may experience enthusiasm during the comparisons. ;) :) (just give us a shout if it's too much ;))

Agreed. I think they're both excellent devices based on what I've seen so far. But Gnex is coming up with a slight advantage (again, based only on what I've read/seen, not hands on) in my decision. The 0 camera lag and battery freedom are important to me. Moto also lost a few points from me over the DX fiasco. But in the end only a hands on will generate the verdict. And if the GNex comes up short, I'll give the Razr a whirl. a win either way.

Oh I agree...it seems like it's been three months! I'm not sure whether we're going to get a pre-order on the Gnex or not, but at this point, I don't care. I will have a sudden "appointment" on the 17th and march my happy tail to the VZW store as soon as they open. :D

Ya , pretty much my plan is use my upgrade to buy an iphone 4s (we all know their value lol) sell it for around 600 new.

Take that and just buy an unsubsidized SGN.

Question being i guess, where would that be from. HOpefully not overseas but maybe google dev account or bestbuy or something?

This is my first android so not sure how it usually works.

How'd she take it?
