haha hey steven seriously howcome we cant have a nexus uncensored thread? dont all the mods here know that bottling up frustration is never good? i mean were all going to turn into crazy people.! i dont want to get to the point where i rip someones arm off and when they say why did u do that i turn and look and say "nexus." all of you mods prolly have a secret mod lounge where u guys can rip on us haha

On XDA it was said that the 2.3.5 update for at&t Captivate still uses RFS (Robust FS, haha and so far from being robust) however it's an "optimized" RFS... and apparently it is better than the RFS from 2.2.

There is. All of the people completely frustrated with the Nexus are now partaking in a communal thread called the RAZR forums, where they rationalize getting a Moto phone by thrashing the Nexus.

yea not for me cause after this bionic mess moto and I just arent seeing eye to eye at the moment and need a break and i just want to give sammy another chance to win my heart. haha

there is. all forums have mod "back rooms" to address issues that come up, how to handle certain issues/topics, dealing/discussing member infractions, etc...

I worked as a manager at a video store with a "back room" while in high school...can any of the mods confirm if its kinda like that?

i haven't seen much thrashing of the GNex (and certainly not any more than what the RAZR is getting in here). it seems to be more excitement over the device they have chosen. if anything, any "thrashing" is directed more at Sammy, as opposed to the GNex in particular. i'm taking it all in because, quite frankly, with all the power and speed these new devices have, build quality and call quality is taking on even more importance for me. and, in the past, Sammy hasn't exactly excelled in those 2 areas. i'm hoping that that changes with the GNex.

I know it's a funny rhetorical question.. so I'll laugh hahahah. :)

However, all funny-ness aside? I was thinking that I need to get a life. This is too obsessing over a phone. Now I'm thinking quad-core.

Edit: we do have hidden forum sections. I will tell you this. We joke around a bit, but we are nothing but respectful of the membership and are professional. Believe me, the action is out here, not in there.

lol Of course we have a specific mod section, every forum does. We may confer on reported posts, but we don't really talk about members. We talk about the site, things that need to be done and stuff like that. We can be quite the boring bunch. Sorry to disappoint.

well, given the sheer size of this forum, there would have to be one. trust me, it's nothing to be jealous of. there's a little more "leniency" in the frivolity (at least on the one i was involved in), but it's primarily (by far and away) dealing with administrative stuff. it's a ton of work, which is another reason why we owe a great big "thanks!!" to the mods here. we see all the work they put in on the open member forums, but that's only the half of it - they do a TON of work behind the scenes!
 
Ugg i was getting tired of waiting for the gn so i just went on craigslist and picked up an og droid cheep, to satisfy my craveing.
I had a local verizon store do a esn check and i asked about the GN.
She looked at me funny and smiled, i said its comeing soon huh she bobbed her head yes, i lol

i dont know much about forums. this is the only one i ever registered for. but ummm u said "we dont really talk about members" not " we really dont talk about members" tonights meeting going to start like hey sox08 sounds like a trouble maker, yea i dont like his tone, his posts kind of off topic, he smells funny. lets ban him. its going to go like that isnt it? haha

yea but we all know they get a pretty hefty annual salary for being a mod. all joking aside mods gotta get sum love espically you steven58. yea im lookin at you big guy. i couldnt imagine coming home and reading all these posts nevermind all the other stuff i dont know about. when i come home from work i dont have time to read all the posts, i just skim thru and look for the posts with the most thanks n im like whoa whaddya we got here anythin good? my thinking is any post with over 3 thanks def worth a gander. anything over 10 thanks time just stops till i read it haha
