The pictures he posted of the two devices here show a 16GB and 32GB as I believe was noted earlier...

Maybe we have an iPhone like option regarding size?

Haven't seen anything leak about that, but it is a possibility. If I had to guess, I would say it will launch with 32GB, with 16GB following once they feel they have sold all they could at the $299 price point.

I went into phone4u at lunch today as they already have an ad in the window and asked if they had a demo model I could try out. He said come back on the 16th. Obviously he may not have had a new date communicated, but there's still hope we'll get it on the 17th.

A hint of good news on release date, that with the tweet from P3 about possibly a choice in memory size, not a bad start to the day. Thanks!
 
Not sure if it means anything, but the @SamsungMobileUS twitter feed has been tweeting and retweeting lots of tweets regarding the Galaxy Nexus over the last 24-48 hours. I don't think they'd be doing that if the launch was pushed back in to December. Just my opinion though.

Good Morning fellow Gnexers!

While the release date is in flux for many, I'm also holding onto the 17th until Verizon says otherwise. Directly.

9 days to go!

When our youngest child turned 9 the Darling Bride & I had a half-way party. Well, a BIG SHOUT OUT to the daughter Athena, who is 18 today! WHOOT!

Interesting, but I think it is just easy self promotion. But I am pleased to read the @'s, very positive, excellent way to show support for a product. Well done GNexers (including ones not on AF).

Had a dream last night that I walked into Best Buy and saw them putting up in-store ads for the Nexus. I was then able to preorder it a day early :D
 
Speculation. Some days it's a lot of fun, other days just tiring and disheartening. I think at this point this group is getting a bit raw from the speculation. It seems the hype mill is now taking casualties as people explore other options. Could be part of Verizon's evil plan; to wear us down so we get RAZRs and Rezounds. Not quite a conspiracy theory, more like expecting evil from those who have done it before.

A little transparency from Google, Samsung and Verizon would go a long way in calming the natives. If there's a supply problem, tell us. If there are last minute SW problems, let us know. They could spin either to their advantage.

"After the announcement, interest in the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has been so overwhelming, we are having trouble meeting demand. Therefore the launch will be pushed back 2 weeks to <enter date here> to ensure there is enough Ice Cream Sandwich to go around!"

"Quality is our highest priority. We are going to push back the launch until <enter date here> to put the finishing touches on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. We are making it as perfect as we can, out of the box because our customers deserve nothing else."


See how that works? We get solid information, they squash stupid rumors and look like they give a damn about us.

Sadly, my offspring stopped trick or treating years ago. I sure do miss the ritual of snagging all of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, convincing him they were all poisonous. :D

And the day after St. Patty's day off is an absolute M.U.S.T., along with the day after the Superbowl. Those two days are my 'standing' days off every year.

There's a Verizon announcement that the GNex is only available in stores, and supply is limited.

So you show up early at your favorite store, get a spot in line, and wait for the opening. Then, magically, BabyBlues shows up. (Or enter another top poster here)
