To be fair, my Samsung Omnia had a panorama camera mode, so can't really say that Android was on time either. But it is still a neat feature for sure.

Absolutely. I didn't mention the GNex or Android. Phones and Cameras have had that feature for many years, but I wouldn't surprise Apple trotting it out as a "revolutionary" new feature.

They'll even make up a new name for for how it affects your life. They already used revolutionary and magical. So perhaps Magiclutionary.

Welcome to our misery. And sorry to hear that you will still have to have the blackberry. Just think though - they do have the market cornered on battery life. :o

And he was actually referring to the fact that some people will shorten my name to BB so sometimes a post will have to be reread to figure out what is being talked about :D

Being forced to use this pile of crap is what has made me destroy my last 3 blackberrys. Thats right...I'm on my 4th blackberry TOUR in less than a year...about to be a 5th...

Well hello..first tweet from gnex on 4G... yfrog Photo : http://yfrog.com/ntanvp Shared by P3Droid

looks like it is a VZW model...

That's good news. I was worried by how much "a little bit thicker" would mean, but there doesn't seem to be a noticeable difference from the GSM version in the pictures he posted.

With all the awesome specs the HTC Edge is coming out with, wonder why it's got capacitive buttons; I'd figure all 2012 Android phones would have 4.0 already.

Strange.

I suppose since ICS doesn't require a lack of capacitive buttons, this enables manufacturers to produce 720p screens without any of that real estate lost to onscreen keys, like the Rezound will be once it gets ICS. I actually like the idea of having permanent keys rather than ones that just show up when needed, not that I'm not drooling over the GNex.

Wow. My sympathies on that. - what are you doing to them though??!!!

#1 took a 13 story swan dive off the side of the building
#2 drowned in the cooling tower
#3 got ran over by lawnmower

I'm on the fence about this. I like knowing my buttons are there no matter what I'm doing. But on the other hand being able to use the entire screen is kinda drool worthy.

Reading this really gets me thinking (Uh OH! NOOOOO!!!!)

But seriously ladies and gentlemen. I wonder what the heck is going on. I wonder if there is a serious problem with the handset or there is some other serious issue going on behind the scenes

Seeing that P3 already has one and he hasn't mentioned any problems (yet) I wonder what exactly is going on. Delays on the UK release. No official release dates with VZW and no other mention of other carriers carrying it. I mean everything that can be done wrong is being done.

One month and not one carrier has it out to the end user. Just bizarre

Which blackberry would that be? The two I had had no better battery life than my DX has.

I have seen nothing yet that can deter me from thinking that it is still just Verizon timing out their releases. They are very heavily pushing the RAZR right now. The Rezound looks like it may get a few days in the sun as well, which we may see right after 11/11. Either the end of this week or beginning of next week is when we should expect to see some info regarding the Nexus.

And anyway, the first leaked MAP date of 11/10 isn't even here yet. Still too early to start thinking the worst.

Really?? I had the Curve and could easily make 24 hours on it.

I had a Storm and a Tour (well...3 Tours) and I could make it to the end of the work day with normal usage, and only make it til I went to bed if I hardly touched them.

You sound like my prom date! :D

My DX is just fine thank you very much! the crack going across the screen is just a "beauty mark" :p

LMAO!!!

THe RAZR is their gimmick phone - 11/11/11 at 11:11 (gag). The Rehound will probably get a couple days of not nearly as big a push and our baby will get a quiet launch after that. Just my opinion.

I think there are some supply problems where they can't mfr in full quantity. That is just my supposition, but it does seem to fit. Reviewers have had hands on without issues, so I don't think there is a serious design issue. It would also explain the postponed dates for the international versions as well.

The second theory is that Verizon isn't launching these phones too close together, and want a little bit of time between them.
