It does, and that's bothering me.. for real. I seem to care about this more than my business.

Why would anyone expect this chat to be "hard hitting" or adversarial? This is, in essance, a big advertisement for Verizon and the RAZR. If people would see it for what it is, then they wouldn't be disappointed. I'm not knocking it, but when has anyone ever seen something like this, that asked the tough questions, or gave really specific honest answers. Not going to happen. A question about the SGN will get through and the answer will be to the effect of "it's coming, and we'll announce it before the end of the year"
They're talking about nano coating inside and outside the device, for splash resistance. pretty cool feature, actually.
Not expecting adversarial. I was expecting some real questions to be asked. This is a geek site. Do you honestly think that people who frequent Phandroid would need to know the difference in price between 4G and 3G data plans?
Thankfully, Rob kicked it up a notch.
I don't get the whole attitude around here about wanting to get answers. It's not like we're kicking cats or something.
I don't think an SGN Q will get through, this is dedicated to the RAZR.
Now a question that might get answered is "Why should we choose the RAZR over some of the other upcoming offerings that VZW has announced"
It does, and that's bothering me.. for real. I seem to care about this more than my business.
I'm old I can't drink like that anymore
I still try though

The RAZR is indeed a very nice phone. There is no need to put it down. Many of it's specifications are on par with the GNex.It's THIN!!! AMAZING!!! It's got Gorilla Glass!! AMAZING!!! It has a water resistant nanocoating!! AMAZING!!! RAZR!!! WOW!!! OMG!
I totally get that this is a geek site, but what questions would you like to see answered that you don't already know the answer to? C'mon, you're a prosecutor.
This chat is for folks interested in the RAZR, who don't spend hours on the forums.
The chances of me buying the RAZR were slim to none to begin with, but the chances decrease at a rate that is inversely proportional to the square of the amount of times he uses the word "AMAZING!!!"

I prefer the GNex, but I don't hold any ill will towards the RAZR, and by extension, those who purchase the RAZR.
I think there will be many happy RAZR owners. I just want to be a happy GNex owner.
I can.....it just hurts a lot more for longer afterwards.
My main question that I know won't be asked: why does VZW insist on encrypted bootloaders?
I'd be a helluva lot more interested in the RAZR if it had an unlockable bootloader.
..... He doesn't visit geek sites because he's a normal person.
...
I don't think it is. My dad, for example, is interested in the RAZR, but he hasn't heard of this chat, because he doesn't visit geek sites. He doesn't visit geek sites because he's a normal person.
As far as questions I'd like answered, well I put two questions in there:
1. When is it getting ICS?
2. What is talk time and standby time?
I think those are normal questions that I don't have answers to.
I just got 27 updates today. Anybody else find it strange that so many app updates came out at the same time?
I also asked how they got the processor to 1.2 GHz, when the TI website says 1 GHz. I know the answer, but interested to see if they would answer it.
ICS "expected 2012".
Aaaannnndddd my expectation of real info is hereby dead.
