That's just the problem. You Verizon guys are nestled all nice and comfy in knowing the Nexus is inevitably headed your way... while the rest of us await any (I repeat, any...) word on the HSPA+ Nexus.
Having read every single piece of (loosely defined) "news", I'm on the edge of my seat, refreshing Pulse (RSS feeds) and various forums every 5 minutes, with no credible info on whether the US will even receive the GSM Nexus, whether it will be 16 or 32 Gigs, and even if it will arrive this year.

VZW: You get the 32GB Galaxus (Yeah, I fused the name...) at the soonest available time with a fair amount of knowledge on the actual price.

GSM: Release date? Ha... info about delays are all over the place, these retailers say this, Samsung "confirmed" that; this site has it coming on this date, another site has it coming at a completely different date, yet they are all stating that Samsung is behind all the confusion
Storage size? 16GB now, 32GB sometime in the future maybe more or less.
Price? Import and pay as much as a 45" top of the line TV for the lesser model of the phone (16 Gigs). Pay it and find out the 32GB version comes out a week later... fun stuff

This entire thing is a giant Charlie Foxtrot. Google is either a spineless coward or terrible at advertising (go figure, the ad giant can't advertise their own products). Samsung is "in this together" and "a perfect combination" with Google, as they said at the ICS unveiling, however all they are in charge of really is the hardware... yet funny enough we got more information directly from them about this phone then either Google or Verizon (thinking about the little Facebook stuff here). As for Verizon? Hey, it's their "exclusive" LTE model.. they can do with it whatever they want... and the situation they are in is understandable. The Razr and Rezound need a bit of the spotlight before this behemoth devours them both, and VZW can't just screw over Moto and HTC for no real reason, not to mention the $$$.

Google, this is YOUR phone; no matter what company you make a "perfect combination" with, or whatever carrier is giving you LTE and bringing your phone to the general public to. Grow a pair, get a spine, hold your ground, "accidentally leak" a document, grab an Advertising for Dummies book if you need to, but don't screw over the customers/people that made you into what you are today.
 
Not able to post much cause trying to juggle normal life and my new baby but dang this thread is beast!! The wait for this phone is killer..lol but reading this thread sometimes help me pass the time when I'm.able to tune in...
 
Just saw a Razr commercial. This means my phone is nearer. :)

Edit: Watching The Matrix with my wife. I'm quoting people's lines before they speak them. :)

If I do that with the GF I get a swift elbow to the gut... yet she can do it when I'm forced to watch her shows / movies.
 
Speaking of slow nights. I'm at home, and my wife is out with "the girls". Based on these texts I'm getting, it looks like I might be in for a road trip to pick up my slightly inebriated SO up at her friend's house.

I miss the days when I was the one going out drinking :)

I have been doing my best, each and every morning this past week, to post a link to a video of a song that, in my mind, sums up the feeling/mood of ALL of us here in the forum........ I know it's not midnight EST yet, so I may be ahead of the gun, but i am seeing a LOT of "cranky" here today.........

Let's all remember that we are ALL in the same boat, and we are ALL on the same rollercaoaster.........

"WE" are as strong as "WE" decide that "WE" will be. "WE" are all as nice and pleasant as "WE" decide that we will be!

And since we will all be encountering each other many, MANY times over the next 2 years in the Nexus Owner threads, let's just all agree to, as Bill & Ted so eloquently say......... "Be EXCELLENT to each other"......

Okay... I know that this borders on conspiracy theory...

I was examining the Google invite for 11/16. The billboard on top of the building says Art Show 2011. In a Google search, the first thing that came up was the Los Angeles art show on January 19. It was January 19 both this year and last year... in Los Angeles, same place as the Google event on 11/16. Add that to T-Mobile and they get the Nexus on January 19? Hmmm...

So I just got back from playing Hold'em with some of my friends where I won 7 large..

and by 7 large I mean 7 dollars.. lol would of been 10 but I lost 4.. we don't usually play for big money but usually bigger then this

I know off topic but seems like a slow night tonight...

Hey winning is winning. :D

I dumped quite a bit this past Monday and then won it all back Tuesday. I played for a total of about 16 hours those two days and I was up $2.21. I'll take a night out with friends for a few hours and up $7 any day over that.
