Interesting tweet by BMX saying normal Android users should go with the Rezound, and power Android users should go Nexus. Can someone tell me the difference between a power user and a normal user? I'd like to know what I am...

To each their own. With this screen having much more real estate than my OG Droid, I'll have to evaluate this when I get the phone. I like having the ability to quickly search but if it takes up too much room or intrudes on my ability to place other things on the home screen, then I'm like you, it'll be gone. I want my weather/date/time widget up top but it's possible to put that directly under the search bar and I'll be fine.

You're here - you are a power user. :D

I think he is saying the normal user takes the phone out of the box and uses it pretty much as it is. Maybe a launcher on it or other little things but it's taken out and used without much thought as to what else could be done. The power user wants to be able to change anything and everything and either has the know how or the learning capacity to figure out how to. (or the reading skills to follow instructions on how to)

Ahh yes, I guess I am a power user. Been rooted and rommed for over a year, and everyone I know has a rooted phone as well, thanks to my obsession... :)

Nope, the RAZR is still $299. Verizon won't give a discount after only one week. It's $229 on Amazon, but it started out as $250 so that was really only a $20 drop. Anyone who's looking to buy it should check out Amazon, though, they do sell phones for cheaper than Verizon.

I think your gonna be fine with a later release, but I'm just a little hurt that you would wish for the rest of us to be delayed just because YOU can't be available in the 17th. How selfish of you! lol :)
 
I've seen it twice now that NFC is on the battery?!?

Is this true? Is the nfc chip on the battery?

Also, it seems samsung has taken down the pages for the sch-i515 battery.

I'm a late comer to this root/rom game but I love it! And my family now knows way more than they want to about phones.

Hurray! $60 dollars to buy a dock that will do the same thing a $15 cable will. :rolleyes:

I'm just thinking of MHL to HDMI adapters vs this dock for connecting the phone to the TV.
