Hey guys! I am getting my pre-release Galaxy Nexus through the post direct from Samsung tomorrow. If you have any questions or requests for content please do ask. If I am being a bit slow off the mark in responding feel free to give me a virtual nudge by tweeting me @andrewmcsweeney

Something I have yet to see and a feature I would use constantly; music controls in the notification shade. I know its simple, but I'd like to see what all is there and hear how well it functions. I basically have my phone streaming from Music Beta 65% of the time my phone is powered on.
 
I would love to hear some impressions. Well that, and have the device be released already. :P
 
Hey guys. Just a bit more info. I am in the UK so it will be a UK / Europe model. I have been told its a pre-release version that will be replaced with a retail version at a later date.
 
Nice! I am interested in finding out more about the phone. On the other hand, this stunt sounds like a good way to end up as a Ex-Samsung Mobiler...

Ah so you have a UK version of the device I am assuming by your accent?

I was wondering if we could possibly (with mod help) open a thread for QA now that you have a device and you're willing to answer all of our questions and this way you won't get overwhelmed.

Yes I am a Brit! Its a UK version. Don't mind moving this to another thread for QA if thats what people want. Will try post loads of videos and content to answer as many questions as possible. Please do share and tweet the videos. My twitter is @andrewmcsweeney if you want to contact me!

From what I can see now it has flash, white balance, exposure, scene, and picture size but no image stablization. This is an early model so there is a chance the retail version might include it or that it is possible after shooting using the video editor (havent got that far yet)
 
My big question about ICS is something I thought about this morning.

Say you are browsing Reddit (via app) and a text comes in. You drop down notification bar and answer the text, but now you want to go back to the Reddit app. Do you have to go home then bring up the multi-task or is the multi-task button available in every app at the bottom of the screen?

I know its a UK version and all, however I'm really curious on how call quality is on yours across the pond.

How is the clarity?
And call volume?
