Yeah I wonder why the Razr is not under smartphones right now? I guess they are moving it back down below the iphones

That's just on the testman website, the RAZR is still on the regular website.
I don't think the smartphone page is up to date on the testman website, because it says the iPhone 4S will "ship by 10/28"

Good point, I just took a closer look and yes, I lose.

In the CNET review, it says that swype is not supported. How long do you think it would be until someone rigged it to work? I'm pretty addicted to swype.

I had visions of getting up to 1000 thanks hits before the end of this thread. Starting to feel a little iffy. Looks like I'm going to need to:

a.) conjure up some comic genious
b.) be the guy to break the final leak on release date
c) get an avatar sexier than BB

a.)-->Ask me I'm good at useless info
b.)-->F5 and repeat till you find the info
c.)-->Try this for an avatar

Is he... is the bear?

What I'm puzzled by is the camera being the "worst" part about the phone in his review. All we have been hearing is how amazing the camera is and that it will make you forget about megapixels, it's all about the sensor, etc.

Scratching my head...

At least some of the problems they mentioned can probably be addressed via firmware (the focus issues). Not sure about the color stuff he mentions though

Come on guys, we have some news about the phone, interspersed with some videos and reviews which are steadily coming out... I'm sorry, but I don't care about your music tastes... or your local bands... can you please PM that info to keep this somewhat on topic when there is actually some new info coming out?

I have to question it, because they did side by side low-light comparos of the GNex and iPhone 4S, and the GNex was WAY better. We had a decent discussion about it here 400 pages ago ;). So not sure, perhaps he had a defective one...

I take it as a good thing if the worst thing about the phone is something we've heard is fantastic. It means everything else will blow us away.

If you are an avid DL comment peruser, then you may have stumbled upon this comment from a reader who suggests that a white version of the Galaxy Nexus will be out some time in February. I’d love to comment on whether or not that will happen, but truthfully, this is the first time I have ever heard it mentioned. To be clear, this is not a post about a white G-Nex rumor, it’s about something else. It is about a render of a white G-Nex that one of our readers was inspired to make after reading that particular comment.

Talk about a pretty phone and one that I wish was coming to stores in the next week at the same time as the version we have been seeing for the last month or so. Will we ever see something like this officially? They made a white Nexus S – it’s not out of the question.

What do you guys think? Would you be interested in a white version

Nothing yet, huh?

Well, out of court for the time being.

Saw these comparisons of screens which I found interesting:

Superiority of HTC Device over RAZR:

Superiority of SGN over SGSII:

I had no idea that the difference between the RAZR and the Rezound was that pronounced. Wow. Just wow.
I'm not surprised that the SGN screen is sharper than the GS2, after all, the GS2 is only WVGA, which is "even" less than qHD.

What I really want to see is a Rezound vs. SGN comparison.

Formatting was screwed up for me too. Let me edit my post on the previous page and see if that helps.

I have to admit... I had kinda lost interest in the Galaxy Nexus, especially after I downloaded Go Launcher for my Droid X. But now that there's an end-date - finally - and I've read the review, I'm excited all over again and it's renewed my interest. I just might have to pick this dandy little device up next week. ;)

See what I did there? :p

I will miss my swype too. They will likely do a release. They have a honeycomb version so i would think it wont be too long before a new beta comes out. I hope. Although I do like the looks and functionality of this new keyboard.
