Well, you guys and this damn phone have officially made me loose my mind!!!!! I am officially considering paying my cancellation fees for 2 of my lines on T-mobile and coming over to VZW....belirve it or not, it won't be that much more expensive. It will only be 20 bucks more a month, because they give a teacher discount here, and my data will actually work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I get 200kb to 50kb download speed in my area on tmo...I can't even download my google voice messages most of the time. Will I have to pay an activation fee??? They wave those for people paying early termination fees to come from another network don't they???

We have all day tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday. I'll be on or around my PC all 3 of those days pretty much around the clock except for Sunday morning. My aging hands are prepared to hunt and peck throughout :cool:
 
Weekends are tough it is my family time. I will get some in tomorrow for sure, but after that is going to be tough. I will commit to at least another 100 posts or so, I would like to get to 1000 on this thread ;)
 
I just called a store about preorder and the lady said she had started to hear rumblings about something. She was well aware of the phone she said. She was going to call the district manager then call me back. I'm not sure what to think. I guess we'll see, if she calls me back I will update.

Hmm, the RAZR shows as $249 for me. So I guess I have the same credit. Sweet!! I guess I will just buy from Verizon then, since I was using $50 BB gift cards.

Call and explain that you want to change networks and will be activating data eating phones and they will wave it for sure

what are you trying to do, jinx us?!?! i can't think of a better way to delay release than to start talking about closing a pre-release thread! i say that there needs to be an official, non-negotiable statement from mods/admin that this thread is staying open until December 1......
and when we all get our phones on Monday, then lock this sucker down!

Well I stopped in my local verizon store to check out the rezound. Nice phone but what I realized is, no matter how nice and smooth the phone is; it's the OS that I can't stand. Just too many steps to do everyday tasks and it doesn't have the polish that ICS seems to have...

I didn't even bother to ask the swarm at the door about any info. I just walk right by them ignoring their questions and check out what I came in to see. If I have a question I'll ask. I can't stand the salesman hover.....

Although I did leave the following review playing on all of the tablets when I left...LOL

i go to my verizon then upgrade a line and it has my phones pictured...under that is the upgrade date, then under the one with a discount it says 'upgrade at a discounted price plus $50 credit' the pop up window describes it as a loyalty discount
 
I switched over from AT&T about 10 days ago to Verizon. Well actually not with Verizon after tonight...lol.

I bought the Bionic with the service when I signed up. Took the Bionic back a couple days later to get the Razr. Love it. Paid $299 for it and then saw Amazon had it for $199 plus a $100 gift card. Then I see yesterday and today it's possible Nexus out next week. So I took the Razr back and cancelled my service in the mean time before my 14 days were up because I wanted to try out the Nexus. If I don't like the Nexus, I'll take it back and get the Razr again.

Hey all, another lurker here for the past few weeks. Have been excited about the SGN for about 2 months now! Picked up a rezound last week to replace my broken iPhone and it's an amazing phone but am going to pick up a SGN at launch and sell the rezound.

Btw keep this thread open until the phone is released!
