Ok all you little Nexaholics out there. I'm back.

The rep had the phone and store manager was nice enough to play along and act like I was an off the clock employee to let me play with it for a minute or two. The rep was there to more or less go over the phone and he basically covered everything we've seen in all the YouTube videos out there.

About the Nexus:

It is fast. It may be bias on my part or it may just be ICS, but it seems to be faster and smoother than the Razr or the Rezound.

The screen is absolutely gorgeous. I really don't have words to properly describe it. Take the rezound screen and make it better, that is all I can come up with.

The size is like a pretty good combination of the Rezound and the Razr. It doesn't have the width of the Razr or the thickness of the Rezound though. The curve is very subtle and I almost forgot that it was really there.

The phone really functioned flawlessly too. With LTE it was blazing fast to bring up the web and the market. I didn't see music in the market on the phone, btw.

The rep demoed the camera and it really is just about instant. Tap the screen and you have a picture and the phone is ready to go again right away.

He also showed us Face Unlock which was really cool, but I can't see using it all that often unless I'm just trying to show off the feature.

Someone asked what the build was at it was 4.0.1 so I don't think this one has had the update that people were talking about.

I asked the rep about a release date and he said that it was on Verizon, but he was hearing next week.

That is all I've got. I only had the phone in my hands for a couple of minutes and had to pass it to someone else. I almost cried.

The one last thing I will say, I don't see anyone being disappointed with it. The wow factor is just too high.

Totally off-topic here, but how do I set up a signature? I thought I had to have more than 10 posts, but I'm not seeing anything new in my control panel. Thanks.

She did say HAVE and not "be able to order". I'm with Han/Han's sister, 21st!! :) (pretty please VZW?)

P3 is a joke. Kellex/DL is starting to become one too.

About P3's statement of not having any stock in NA...this is a false because:

A. A lot of places in Canada are taking preorders Monday
B. The Canadian launches are said to be December 2nd/3rd. His tweet saying they won't arrive at our shores until the 29th does NOT give them enough time to properly handle a launch on the 2nd/3rd.
C. Why would Google say November if they KNEW the country wouldn't even have stock until the 29th?
D. P3 is a joke

And that screenshot is obviously an advertisement schedule, like the one we saw a couple of weeks ago.

Basically...everyone calm down.
 
it is so unbelievably nice to get on a forum like this and know that I am not alone. none of my friends understand what it's like to be a phone/tech geek. thank you all for helping me realize I am not insane....NOW WHERE'S MY DAMN SGN!!!!????
 
You all have fun, work (heh) is over for me today, I'm off to dinner with my wife and friends. Then I am getting dragged to the new twilight movie.(oh the things we do for love) If my OG droid behaves I will try and check the thread during the movie, if my wife doesn't throw it across the theater.
 
GEEZ!!! i decide to sleep in. Then go out to lunch and come back to ridiculousness!! i am not about to read through 40 pages. haha ill just assume we arent getting GNex 11/21.

They were probably referring to the Canada/UK GSM phones...

*edit* Sorry if I sound harsh, I'm just playing devil's advocate here...I'm still hoping for 11/21.
