No, not necessarily. I still don't understand why there is even a date in the OP title. Nobody knows when it will be, so why bother?

I guess it gives people something else unsubstantiated to freak out about. :rolleyes:

I honestly don't think December 8 was set way back then. At this point, everyone has "leaked" every week from October 27 through mid-December.

I'm not too shabby with my loaner-Dinc2, but I feel terrible for everyone else.

And a little for myself.
 
Ok, been gone for the afternoon, then I come back and see this "Dec. 8th" speculation, and the link in the OP for the "Dec. 8th" speculation isn't working.

Anyone got a different link?

No, she wouldn't. It was a Samsung Rep, as far as Samsung is concerned, the phone is ready, they have no issue bringing around phones to demo, they run flawlessly (as OTD can attest to).
 
Well, I certainly am glad I just downloaded approx 10gb worth of movies today. That ought to keep me busy for a couple days while I wallow in misery hahaha.
 
Just out of curiosity... why are the "I just ordered my G-Nex-type thread*** threads still closed, when there is people that have already gotten the phone?

and yes, I am still here lol, just listening and bothering with too many phone calls.

P3Droid tweeted that the shipments haven't even arrived in US yet, and that we wouldn't see them until "before Dec 10."

Kellex posted a screenshot for some advertising suggesting 12/8

Phil initially posted that it looked like a Black Friday release, then backed off and said that VZW's bloatware was causing the problems, and the release may get pushed into Dec (i don't think he specifically said 12/8, tho).

a word of caution: people are restless, and they're like a heat seeking missile, just looking for a target. since you appear to be a favorite target, you may want to borrow your RAZR's kevlar... :D :p
 
CK - I gotta say, you were right. Not about the date, because you threw around lots of dates, but about the general track the phone release would take, you were spot on. I hope you are enjoying your RAZR.

Phil didn't express it but he agreed with that leaked 'Dec. 8th at all locations' image according to what he heard. But he also said it may come out earlier than that but I'm not so sure anymore.

At this point, count on December 8th. I'm still getting the phone and I'm not going to let Big Red discourage me.
