Verizon will never get another contract out of me unless they start making peep's sign new contract's they get to much money from me per month I will replace phone's out right as needed.

Are they the exception or the rule? It seems that most reports have been good, but I didn't read that thread and I don't know how representative those reports are. But it is a concern I'll admit.

Battery life was definitely not a problem on my RAZR. I thought it was excellent.

"Atrocious"...wow, we sure have wildly different opinions on that. To me the screen on the ReZound looked washed out. :)

It looks good but your right It is washed out, I held my Rezound next to a Thunderbolt and the bolt has better color saturation.

I'm just not a big cloud fan. I spend a lot of time on airplanes and in foreign countries where I don't have access to the "cloud."

I like the idea of a cloud for syncing common items between computer and phone, but I want MY stuff on MY phone/computer when there's not a cloud in the sky.

That is a good point for a time when the cloud is not a good solution. I travel a lot as well. One small drawback.

The display on the ReZound was better to me than the RAZR, but just didn't seem as big. I think in the long run though, bigger doesn't mean it's better when I am afraid I will break it. That's why I am probably going to take the RAZR back, regardless of what I decide to get in it's place.

The funny thing is one of the reviews on the Nexus mentioned that's how they felt about the Nexus. It's big and since it's all plastic and thin, it can feel fragile.

But that doesn't bother me with either one since I don't think any of these are as fragile as they feel. I've never heard of anyone snapping one of these phones in their pocket.

Honestly, I thought they both looked pretty good. It's a phone, not a television, and at the size the screens are now, it all looks pretty darn good.

If you look on the razr forum here, there is battery issue thread. Some users are having horrendous 3 hours of moderate usage between charges.

I get excellent battery life on my RAZR. Well, excellent for a 4G LTE device.

Its slightly better than my former Samsung Charge in battery life. Probably because it doesn't waste energy switching back and forth 4G to 3G like my Charge did, because of the weaker radio.

I think that's the point some are missing. The cloud is not a good substitute for onboard or replaceable storage IMO.

On the 16gb vs 32gb question, I must say I have never much considered it. I do like the idea of as much storage as possible. However looking at my Eris, which has 8gb, I see I still have around 5gb left. I am an extreme minimalist, with apps, music, movies, photos etc. I also have no problem with manually transfering items as I need them. It is that minimalist instinct which is still compelling me to hold out for the GN ( I mean, no physical buttons... you can't get much more minimalist than that).

That said, I played with the Rezound last night... lovely little thing, once you get past Sense...

@black_man_x: to be honest everyone is tired of vzw bs. device is no longer a nexus due to their dumb ass games.. Unlocked works great on att..

Ok, this is the first actually disturbing text from Panda. Do you all have any theory what he means? Is Google gonna really be held up by Verizon with this phone-- no updates, extra bloat, what does he mean!!??

One thing about the RAZR - i'm so used to the thin factor now. Its like holding 3 stacked credit cards. Not sure I could go back to a thick form like the Rezound. Nexus is really thin too though.

The letter is speaking in behalf of the MEMBERS of the forum, not the forum or its owner.

While I understand that and do see the difference the site name and forum are owned by someone. I just don't think it is a great idea to suggest or imply that the actual forum is supporting the "rental" program you guys are talking about.

Please don't get me wrong, I love the letter. It is my job to look out for the forum and members so.......

Anyway, I sent a quick heads up over to the Boss just to get his input.

Bingo! That was a huge issue with the Samsung Charge. There were times that phone got so hot in my pocket when switching from 4G to 3G and back again, it was almost unsettling. It got to the point whenever I felt that heat, I knew the phone was having a signal issue. Not surprisingly, during that same time, the battery would absolutely plummet in its charge.

I go to the same areas with the Bionic and don't have those issues.

I recognize that for some people the cloud is a great thing if you always have cell service. For people who travel, not so much. You can't stream Pandora when you're at 35,000 feet over the ocean.

That was a nice thing about the RAZR. I could slip it in a front pocket and not even notice it was there. Nice...very nice!

I had no clue to actually worked like that. That's interesting.

Anyone actually gotten any replies from Verizon? I think it's great you guys are emailing them and all, but I'd like to hear/see what they(Verizon) have to say about all of this.

One thing I just thought about, if Verizon is really behind the delay of this device launching and they have already put some bloatware on the phone, does this mean they could delay OTA updates?

I mean the main appeal for the Galaxy Nexus is it's the most up to date OS, it looks great too, but the software is what I am excited for. Since the Gnex has some bloatware on it, it would have to wait for Verizon to update the bloatware to work on Jellybean when that comes out.

I don't know, I really wish that Google would have partnered with T Mobile again like they usually do and I would have jumped ship in a heartbeat. I'm getting so fed up by Verizon over this.
