***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

On a side note, I've never had a Samsung device before, and I went and got a SGSII to test with when I go back home over TGiving. I know it will work at my house, but when I go back to the relatives, I wanna make sure I can get good coverage.

I love the samsung hardware. I had a Dinc, and I also used many extra batteries cause the battery life was bad. Eventually my back cracked in a couple spots. I was a little scared about the back of the GNex, but after useing this sgsII, you can tell this plastic is very flexible and durable.

Anyway, if the test over TGiving goes well, I'm thinking of importing anyway, cause of the $30 Unlimited plan I could get.

So I'm feeling good, and I'm gonna get the Nexus. The carrier might now be in question though.:)

There's no way this phone is releasing 11/21...no way. Not even a drop of advertising ....an announcement as early as Monday maybe. Hope its at least next week though

Ok folks, take this for what its worth but I just got back from running errands. Had to go to BB and was talking to the phone rep there about the GN. I asked him when its due out. He was told beginning of Dec. I also asked if they confirmed it only being 16GB and he said yes that was true.

I was so mad when he told me this and he agreed that its a huge bummer. He said the 16GB version was being "rushed" by VZW and that is the reason for no 32GB.

Again speculation but a big bummer as far as I'm concerned.

:(:(:(

Oy vey :( Please let the bad news stop.

Alright, Verizon is getting the phone this year. If not, it would be the biggest egg in the face moment ever, and there would be a ton of imports being used already.
I hope for everybody I'm wrong as for me I'm holding off till after the first of the year anyway.I want to see how thing go before I spend 600.00 or 700.00 on a phone that is not tested by John Q Public. And before anybody say's it is being tested over sea's yes it is buut not on LTE.

This whole forum is in a mopey, depressing mood and everyone is assuming the worst. Everyone's assuming the 16GB is going to be the only thing available, despite the evidence against it, and now everyone is assuming the volume bug is widespread, when it obviously isn't being reported in any great magnitude. I know the lack of a 21st release is annoying, but lighten up Francis!

I'm going to go back to enjoying my vacation and check back in a few days. By the way, my application is still monitoring the VZW website for Phone 5801, so if I get notified, this thread will still be my first stop :)

in the 6 stages of anger, i think alot of people are between #3 and #5 right now. let's hope we don't all make it to 6.

Bitterness
Bitterness is the embryonic stage of anger. Its birth is as a result of our inner self disagreeing with something. This is human and cannot be avoided. The truth is this is can be healthy to a point because in its own way establishes our identity. We know who we are, what we like and dislike and it can be a pretext for gaining wisdom and understanding. If bitterness is addressed in the correct way and reflected upon we can easily rise above it and gain understanding. There are various outlets for this, agreeing to disagree, accepting others opinion, allowing time to gain understanding and accepting that matters can be beyond our control. If any of these are applied correctly then our bitterness is easily uprooted. If not we are led into the next stage of anger which is wrath.

Wrath
In wrath we are fuming and expect ourselves to react to the bitterness we endured. For people with the quick fire anger, this stage of anger barely exists as they unleash their wrath on others without allowing time for reflection. For the slow burn it is a case of developing hatred as the thoughts that formulate within their minds set off alarm bells for retaliation. Wrath is the key stage to walk away from anger. It is the point of forgiveness where we realize nothing we do can change how we feel about the situation. It is a case of walking away or willing ourselves not to be drawn into the next stage. In any event it is our last saving point of grace before we get angry.

Anger
Anger at this point in the process means, we are unable to control bitterness and have allowed our wrath to take control of us. Righteous anger in this case is instructional and focused on correction rather than retaliation. To distinguish between righteous anger and that which isn't we can examine the results from either. Righteous anger leads to a better understanding where as unrighteous anger usually results in disaster. If unrighteous anger takes over at this point then we head straight for clamour.

Clamour
Perhaps righteous anger may spill over to clamour to get our point across and ensure that the corrective message gets through. Most times the loud voice will still hold authority and be controlled. With unrighteous anger clamour is loud, aggressive and intentionally destructive. It is meant to hurt, frighten and oppress and most times it gets these results for its effort. This stage of anger means we have no control of what happens next and its best not to be in the vicinity of what may have brought this on. When clamour has taken its toll on us we move into evil speaking.

Evil Speaking
In this there is no control of our anger. There is no spirit of good left in our actions and our sole purpose is to inflict pain. This stage of anger is the quaking stage, we become breathless and evil surrounds our being. We call upon every component of arrogance, pride and all the bad we can muster from the world to exert whatever force of evil we can find on what has made us angry.

Malice
Malice is the final stage of anger and the worst place to be. Here we we have become judge and jury of our thoughts and want retribution. If those who suffer from the slow burn anger ever get to this stage, their actions are premeditated. They have determined carefully what they wish to do and are now exacting their anger in accordance. For those of the quick fire anger, their actions are swift, disastrous and terminal.

I SERIOUSLY think this thread has turned me into a 5 year old. (or a teenager not sure)

I WAS so going to buy the Rezound(yuck, they still should have called it Vigor) I loved my Dinc, and I thought it would be a GREAT replacement. I was only paying minimal attention to this thread. "NFC? shrug not really useful, ICS? the HTC will get it, etc) Somewhere along the line, I'm not sure maybe "mob" mentality, I've gotten sucked in :)

And with this delay crap I feel like now I WON'T buy anything else just to spite VZW, They could offer me a Rezound tomorrow free and I'd tell them to F'off I'll wait for my GN.

It's petty and immature and I can't help myself :(

Hi, my name is Crashumbc and I'm a Nexiaholic

oh well...

Awesome, back to a flip phone I go. Can't get the mobile network to work on my OG Droid after doing the RSD back to stock thing.

This thread was so upbeat a few short Weeks ago. We should play a game and get that love back...

I like your spirit! :)

Fact is, the happy smiley jumpy time was just a few days ago and things will turn back around on a dime.

I promise. ;)

Truth is that while it varies by degree all high profile launches go just like this.

Ups, downs, frustrations, new close friendships forged, and just when everyone is sure it's never coming and the specs are a screw up, it suddenly releases better than ever.

It's hard to feel it when you're watching and waiting and needing the phone - but blue skies are coming! :)

As your friendly island minded pal, I suggest this...
