If it wasn't for 720p and Amoled I would be looking elsewhere. ICS has some cool features but things like no flash and no micro sd would be a deal breaker for some. I really don't mind. It's comical how much the iPhone has been ridiculed for those very same things.

The rezound is looking better and better. If it had s-off already I might just go buy it and wait and see about the GNex.

I don't have a problem with the rumors or think Scott is necessarily trolling but he uses words like "guaranteed" and "Hard evidence". I think he just needs to work on his wording with his leaks.

I agree. You have to choose your words wisely...you never know when you have to eat them.

Exactly.

When someone makes the perfect phone, I think we'll all buy it and then have nothing to discuss, so I'll go join some new paradigm-breaking digital furniture forum.

Meanwhile, there's no best phone - just the best phone for each of us personally at a given point in time.

I say competition leads to better products and in the end, it's the smart consumers that that win - read: us.

Myself, I'm liking Android the most. :)

The burden of credibility rests with the person posting the information. It is not up to others to disprove posted information, it is up to the poster to demonstrate that his or her information is reliable.

And I think the poster has no obligation to prove anything. It is up to the person reading it to decide if they believe it or not. None of us here have any entitlement to have information given to us and then to force the person providing the information to prove that it is valid and correct.

To be perfectly honest with an attitude like this if I had information to share I might just not bother because I couldn't care less to have to prove to anyone that it is good information.

As a root user, I agree with part of this. Problem is that I'm coming from a rooted T-bolt, phone that was never officially supported, by Cyanogenmod. As such, it was left up to others to port it over and do all the legwork to scrub details. As such part II, there's never been a truly stable build of it and the phone has been out since late March (is that right?)...GPS issues, radio issues, Flash issues, there's always something. The people that believe CM will be up and running on the Rezound in a couple of months are likely way off base, unless CM has already declared that it will support the device. If it's left to everyone else to compile and work on bug fixes, good luck. HTC devices, at least the one I'm currently using, do not really love AOSP all that much. The old, prelocked HTC devices, as I understand it are another story, but I'm just saying I wouldn't bet on it happening anytime soon.

Yeah, if you just look at what he said (his corp store manager buddy has 50 Gnex's set to arrive this week) and not how he said it, then it isn't really that crazy. He didn't claim a launch date or anything, just said they should be sitting in the back room of his local store by tuesday

Has anyone else noticed that Samsung has been posting more Galaxy Nexus related stuff today on Google+ than they ever have, or is it just me?

Exactly.

OK, recycling posts now Early? :p:D Definitely not the first time I've seen the digital furniture reference. lol Guess this is what happens when there is nothing left to talk about in the vacuum that is PR from Verizon about a phone release.

We really don't know anything. There are conflicting reports even about the rumored Dec 8 release date. It could be this week or it could be sometime in December. The only thing we know for sure (because it came directly from Verizon) is that it will release this year.

Verizon Wireless Introduces The Galaxy Nexus By Samsung

That truly is what sums up everything....we do not know nor will we know for sure until VZN says. Anything up to that point is not 100% reliable. Personally for me this is just fun to speculate, investigate, and just pass time. One things we can be sure of is when they do make a statement on a release it will be solid...they would not have waited and made everyone else wait only to give a date w/ any possibility of having it pushed out. I think that is as fair as we could ask Verizon to be.

Hey guys,
I know im new here and am on the same boat as everyone. I just wanted to make it aware that I have wholesale pricing for verizon phones, and once the galaxy nexus becomes available on my website, i'll be able to see what kind of pricing we'll have for it.

but things like no flash and no micro sd would be a deal breaker for some.
Not having Flash was a deal-breaker for me because I switched to Android specifically because of Flash support. But, Google confirmed that Adobe will support ICS.

Flash, as well as most apps, will have to be updated to support ICS.

ROTFLMAO

What?

You think I got to this many posts without re-cycling?!?! :D ;)

Both of the digital furniture posts were morphs of that same post referring to digital washing machines instead. Until it me that they were making them and the Android washing machine was probably next!

Besides, a lot of my posts are credited to others, so I appreciate you're noticing! :D :)

Whether Scott is attracting attention or passing on information is yet to be seen. Leave him be until we can eithr cooberate or he is proved wrong.

I see none of the past loved and thanked credible "source"(s) or those who were their mouthpieces who have been proven completely wrong being attacked like tis new guy.

As a matter of fact one of the mouthpieces of the most trusted and loved source who has been so incorrect is thanked like he is akin to God.

Lets just see how this plays out.

Where are the past sources hiding out??
