How do you know? You don't. You're making accusations about something you know little to nothing about. He could be saying nothing about his sources because they don't want him mentioning a thing. I agree, the way he carries on with the demeanor he uses in some of his posts, its easy to discount and discredit. But he's no more or less reliable than "love tunnel", the moms piano-teaching dogs cousins hamster, the screen shots we see daily (that may have at one point when they were initially leaked be true, and now not), and every other bit of second hand knowledge people have been dissecting and analyzing from up down and sideways. Its fun to sleuth and piece this all together, I know. But in doing so I've always found it better to take a wider look at the information.

Cincy... you may have missed before. He is 15 and just excited about the phone. His optimism is purely emotional, not based on anything. Like many of us, he's a kid waiting for Christmas.

Agreed, and... agreed.

You can hate a man, but you can still look independently and objectively at his product. Perhaps you have an assistant, boss or partner at you law firm whom you genuinely regard as less than pleasant. But you are still forced to look objectively and independently at his work.

Yep. Right there with you. And even more so I'm leaving Verizon for good.

[RANT]You hear that Verizon corporate? You made a great network but how can you not figure out how to release phones in a prompt manner before they become outdated before even hitting your network.

PS. Not only am I leaving but I will do everything in my power to take as many people with me as I can. I advise plenty of friends that are unhappy with your ways too and if I tell them the phone they want is on another network you can kiss them goodbye too. [/RANT]

The difference is that the Love Tunnel, and in turn Steven, don't demand attention and twitter followers in return for information, nor do they state their information as irrefutable fact. You don't see Steven denying people help with "do i owe u anything? i dont think so" (which is what P3 said to our very own wedgemoose).

Like Early said, if someone sets themselves up like some public celebrity, they better accept the negative attention they're gonna receive.

You don't go around defending Harold Camping for incorrectly predicting the end of the world this year. He made millions of his little scheme at the expense of others, and similarly, P3 is another self-serving false prophet.

If P3 stuck to devving, I wouldn't mind him at all. If he told people information politely, while admitting that there was a chance that he was wrong, I wouldn't dislike him.
But P3 is what he is, and I don't like it.

It's ok. I think a lot of us have tried to make sure we say its sarcasm. When in doubt pm or just ask. I honestly don't believe anyone here is trying to be malicious. I do know for a fact that a lot of us use sarcasm so often that we don't realize it could be misconstrued so don't take it personally. :D
 
Have only skimmed the thread this weekend but dayum it seems awfully irritable around here. Relax guys and gals, it'll happen. And if not? Fine we can all drink the koolaid.
