Both Samsung and Corning independently confirmed Gorilla Glass would not be on the Galaxy Nexus; Corning via Twitter, Samsung via Facebook:So its word of mouth by people on the internet that it has been confirmed but nothing posted by Samsung?
Well I am in a dizzy spin on the mass storage thing, it does, it don't, heck, rumor or not, its been back and forth too much for me. Someone catch me up please?
If its true it does not I hope they tweak that.
Here is a pic of the Nexus Prime and the Galaxy Nexus.

Is it me, or was last night's Dexter a bit anticlimactic? And is there any doubt now that Gellar is a hallucination-dark passenger of Travis?
On topic:
I saw that the Lotus Glass thing kicked up again earlier. Do we know if that's what it has?
Oh boy.
Just got off the phone with my sister.
She says that the "bug reports" are BS. Supposedly it's "corporate crap". I asked her what that means, and she said that they are holding back the release because they want to, not because they have to. She says that dates have been set, only to be pushed back again.
She says that yes, the phone is even now still in testing, but most phones are, up until they release. Supposedly they found some bugs but were able to patch them with OTA updates, and even people within Verizon are getting a little pissy about the release date getting pushed back.
One guy told her they want to "maximize" device sales and that SGN will have a good December.

P3 or black_guy or someone like them told us.. this is no longer a nexus device
No, Samsung didn't post anything but they did say in several interviews and/or statements IRL. Nothing posted online AFAIK.

I think the biggest problem I am having with Verizon not giving a release date is that my OG Droid is barely hanging on. I've done the whole flash back to stock thing that is recommended and it isn't helping. Two days ago my wifi stopped working. I've been eligible for an upgrade for over a month now and there's no other devices I want on Verizon. However, AT&T has a beautiful SGSII Skyrocket that looks very nice and I'm in one of their few 4g areas.

Response to OT
You know, I thought the same thing until I talked to the other huge Dexter fan in the office today. They accomplished quite a bit in that episode...
1. Deb knows that Dex was in Nebraska, when the body turns up, it's going to raise suspicion with her, that will lead us into next season.
2. Who was Laguerta covering for? Conventional wisdom says her boss based on the blackmail from the beginning of the season, but, I think it was Bautista. She asked where he was immediately, and her character would again go the blackmail route if she had something on someone she didn't care about. Yet another story line intertwined in the season.
3. One step closer to writing Quinn out of the show
I think the sister story lines are huge and the parallels between Dex and Travis. Also, all of his kills have been "off" this season. They are showing major character development and I can't wait for the next episode. Yes though, no huge cliff-hanger or major revelations, but, they accomplished a lot.
On topic... I hope you all get your Nexi very soon. I think that I am on lock-down until at least 12/5. I got rumors today that the company is planning to cut approximately 25% of the people in our office. I have survived 8 layoffs so far, and I fear that my luck may be running out. So, I have to wait it out. Supposedly it's going to happen in the next 2 weeks, and it won't be this week, so, I am expecting the worst next week.
So, I may get to spend more time with all of you, but, may not be able to spare the $300 on a new phone if I am jobless
Oh well, can't stress out about it. Like I said, 8 times before, so, I am used to the drill. Not much I can do about it one way or the other. I guess, if I get cut before 11/30, I'll get the $0.01 Rezound from Amazon and be happy as hell. If it's after that, I'll be stuck with my iPhone 3Gs until I am employed again and on the high side of digging out of any holes I create for myself.
Hope it doesn't come to that, but, preparing for the worst.
Can we settle this issue with renting RAZR/Rezound for once please?
This issue seems to crop up on every other page and some strongly believe that there won't be any issues renting while others strongly believe that if you activate your phone, you won't be able to return it past 14 days.
I spoke to the rep at a the Verizon store and he told me not to worry. I've read through the Returns and Exchange policy and I don't see anything I should worry about but I'm not 100% sure.
I have a RAZR now which I will return for the GNex. I just don't want to run into any issues. The only reason I have switched to Verizon is because of the 4 GB data offer which some are saying is expering at the end of this month. Otherwise I would of imported the International GNex.
But they didn't mean that literally. They were just saying that they don't feel it follows the "rules" of a Nexus device...
Guys, my post probably got lost in the shuffle but P3 tweeted this:

ExactlyP3 said the exact opposite, this is still a nexus device according to him
Goodbye Verizon, hello AT&T Galaxy S2
Decided for a few reasons to switch carriers. I will be jealous of your 720p screens though. I will check in periodically to see how the madness has progressed.
They posted it in answer to a question on Facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/SamsungMobileUSA/posts/10150320290026786
They also gave the same answer to blogs who contacted them to ask whether the GN had Gorilla Glass. For example:
No Gorilla Glass for the Galaxy Nexus (Update) | Android and Me
The file transfer protocol it uses functions just like USB Mass Storage on Windows, but it's a little unfriendly with OS X/Linux. That's all you really need to know about it.
