As Steven just mentioned, money sooths all hard feelings pretty quick. If this is a huge success, you can bet you'll see Nexus models on Verizon again.

I never said there would never be Nexus models on Verizon again. I said they'll never have a Nexus exclusive again and I'd bet on that. I assume they don't like their tech being held back in order to sell more Razrs and Rezounds. Although, maybe they do since Google/Motorola now go hand in hand. Maybe it's Google and not Verizon delaying the release to sell more Razrs :rolleyes:

I'm fighting that battle every hour, I unsubscribe and then a while later my inbox gets full again. Does it automatically subscribe you if you post.....well I guess this will be a test


**edit** yep, I unsubscribed, and then after I posted I was subscribed again. Anyway to change that from automatically happening or is it just up to me to click the thread tools and unsub after every post?

If someone doens't feel comfortable taking advantage of VZW's return policy or TOS, they don't have to, but I'm not buying the legal/ethical arguments against it.

Got semi good news, on my lunch break, I called my local VZW store to ask about the DD deal. The girl had talked to me before and remembered my situation, she said that she was pretty sure they were going to extend the DD deal until the end of the year. I asked her if she was sure and she said her district manager is here, I'll ask him...she puts me on hold and says that at this point it seems very likely they will extend it. I know this is nothing definitive, but when I talked to the same girl just 3 days earlier, she had no idea if it was going to be changed, and was very standoffish when ask the question, so something changed her mind very drastically. She also said that the reason Amazon has the 30th on there is simply because as of right now, that's the only time frame that Verizon has given them for the promotion to be active.

Also, I of course ask her about the nexus and she said she saw the Samsung rep the day before and when she ask when it was coming out he looked at her like she was crazy....so who knows.

This is true. Google is probably to blame for some of it, although I don't know why their release in Europe went off without too much of a hiccup while here in the U.S. it seems to be taking forever.

I'm not buying into the idea that Verizon always had only 1 date in play based on marketing purposes. If that were true, BMX wouldn't be complaining about delays (from November 3 to 17 to "who knows". . .plus, he used to work for Verizon and most likely still has deep contacts there). If that were true, Kellex would never have received word of 11/17 (given that he was the only one that pegged the HTC Device for 11/14, I'd say his Verizon contact is pretty legit).

I'm not going to go into the info provided by my sister or the Love Tunnel. But BMX and Kellex both have a ton of credibility, have been proven right on numerous occasions, and both have received dates from Verizon that have proven to be pushed back.

This idea of December 8 always having been the date is either a total bald-faced lie or just 1 date among dozens of others that might prove to be right.

It in your control panel. You can set it so you are subscribed but don't get emails. I'm sure I'm ninja'd by now though

Except Hans sister for sure and the love tunnel to some extent prove your theory wrong. They are intentionally holding back. Testing is BS. I think BMX had said that for a while now too.

I just rooted my Dinc2 and flashed MIUI to it (my first time with it). Seems pretty cool so far.

I stopped by a local Verizon Corporate store yesterday and when I asked the rep about the "Samung Galaxy Nexus" and to my surprise she said that isn't even a phone , she said it was called the Samsung "Prime" but now has been switched to the "Droid Prime" I didn't feel like correcting her and getting into an argument so to speak about who was right but it's sad when the reps in a corporate store don't even know the correct name of their phones...

looking over a calendar id say either 11/25-28 or 12/8. I still hold out hope for a web only duration. I mean it wouldnt kill sales that much if they did a web only. No advertising, no in store ads or demos. Most people are going to walk into the store or get a razr or rezound at amazonwireless, not verizon online.

LOL, I spent about 3 weeks trying 1/2 dozen ROMS on my Dinc this fall. I'm too far into this "GIVE ME A GN" thing now. My Dinc. has one more flash in it, when I flash it back to stock to give it to my sis.

Very intuitive. Ran miui for 5 months until my next ocd phase it's great, really.
