BMX said that they were going to ship "in a few days" a while ago. I tend to think that all these "bug" reports are BS. At worst, they'd just send an OTA once you boot it up to activate it.

I think bean counters are behind this whole fiasco, and there's not much wrong with the phone.

The volume bug is caused by the 900 MHz radio in the GSM version. The LTE version has no such radios, thus no such problem.

Haha no, you probably missed my few posts earlier but I'm taking a step back from this whole thing, I'm expecting 12/8 now instead of being so overly optimistic :P
And IMO there's not much need for me to keep obsessively checking this thread until then unless we get some sort of info, which would probably be posted on the Phandroid site.
 
just checked the LTE map, finally found the "google mapish one" thats color coded and lets you zoom in/out and move around. looks like im about 1/4 mile outside of LTE at home :-\

Kind of missing the point of miui if your not using the stock launcher with it's iAlikeness. There are a plethora of themes that can change its look from cartoons to glass to executive to etc... check 'em out at the miui usa site

I thought it was better for a long time. It's much more intuitive than anything else imo. I'm back to cm7 though as I'm ocd and get bored easily. Definitely worth trying it's not for everyone

I do not understand the partnerships and why Verizon would want to push one phone over another. I would think all Verizon would care about is getting people locked into new/extended contracts. The best way to do that is offer the best possible products as soon as possible. Why does Verizon care if they sell a razr or a Rezound, or a Nexus? The longer it takes to get the nexus out the more customers that may get fed up and look at another network. I doubt they really care if someone rents a phone they still get you locked in for 2 more years. If I am Samsung a would be pretty upset at this point the longer it takes for this to get out the more market share Moto and HTC pick up. The rate the tech evolves the Nexus only has a few months before the quad cores start coming out. How many sales does Samsung lose every day the Nexus sits in a warehouse?

Oh my god. That is insane. Ironic some of the petty rules OSHA has, but free climbing is okay. I would have to clip in every time and would probably be going....:eek:

So hard to judge how people present their battery life with so many variables, too many to ever really get a fair comparison. I use my phone and I average 16-20 hours out of a battery charge :D but what does that mean, right!

Is it rooted?
 
Rooted, CyanogenMod, JDKernel Nightlies, DInc 2, extended battery: 1.5 days. Don't care about thickness of phone...seriously don't.

EDIT: heavy use

So the Nexus delays are pushing you toward an iPhone because you went to the Apple store? That make more sense? :p

Want to like razr and rezound? Not good if your forcing yourself to like something. (gawh I'm so literal sometimes)

But the Nexus is worth the wait....now we're talking. Smart choice I think you have clearly made!

Going to give miui an go maybe for st least an week so far its pretty good.seems pretty smooth but that could be since its an fresh install
