Good morning to all....:):):)

With some of the rumored issues fixed, I am hoping for a 11/28 release.
I am not all for a 11/25 release, but if that happens than I'll take it.
^^^ I hung up my Black Friday Super Hero cape a long time ago.

I don't think 11/28 is realistic.

Assuming they announce this phone and don't have a silent launch, which others and myself have argued will probably be the case (why would you get exclusive rights to a phone and then silent launch it? that makes no sense), they would have to announce the phone today or on Black Friday.

Could they announce it today? Sure, and maybe that will happen.

Could they announce the phone on Black Friday? Sure, but that seems like a terrible day to make an announcement. Black Friday is a day to brag about your sales, not a day to announce a flagship device. The announcement would get lost in all of the "HUGE sale!" articles.

I love your optimism. I just wish I shared it. ;) I've come to grips with 12/8, and if it happens then, I will be happy. But I'm thinking that's going to be my drop dead date. I want a new toy to play with on my trip that starts 12/10. (Yes, I realize this makes me sound like a 3 year old...and I'm okay with that.)

Folks worried about Software Updates from Google, (and I'm one of them) I have a question.......

Do the T-Mobile and Sprint versions of the Nexus S have any carrier installed apps? I thought I remember reading that the Sprint version had a few?

If so, how are their updates handled? I don't remember reading any complaints from those guys as far as software updates.

No carrier apps. Updates are through Google.

It makes you sound normal around these parts. But just think how happy you'd be if you waited another couple of weeks if it didn't drop on the 8th. You know it's coming, it's just when now and not if.

So the original release date was Monday Nov 28th, why wouldn't the release date be on the following Monday Dec 5th? And not Thursday Dec 8th.

Read the comments on the "article" (I use that term loosely) which pretty much says it all.

I don't know how reliable that article is either. Who knows who the source was and how much they know. They could be going off of any of the rumors that are floating around and because "Confirmed" is in the title it is automatically taken as fact. With the amount of reputable android blogs that have been asking Google, Samsung and Verizon for a release date why would Samsung choose to confirm something to Business Insider suddenly.

I've been a three year old all my life then

LOL, I see you are on both sides of the fence with that statement.
Anything is possible, This Verizon we are talking about here.
True , all the rumors lead to December ??/??, But I like to use the word HOPE. And I am hoping for a surprise to this nightmare.:)

Verizon has pretty much does all releases on Thursday -- not sure why they moved it to Monday for Razr, but the Rezound was Thursday as well.

This picture still has me a bit hopeful for some reason.

Edit 2: Picture removed for the good of the thread.

Yeah, I bet they have a good supply of the RAZR.

Edit: Although this memo is clearly expired as the 11/17 illusion launch date would indicate

Anyone have a good recomendation on a USB OTG cable and an MHL ?

Just search eBay for USB OTG -- I bought one of the first ones that showed up.

I looked for one that said XOOM or SGSII so I know it at least works on Android phones although any OTG cable should work.
