I kid, I kid...

Enjoy the phone, guys and gals. I'm heading off to the Holidays where I won't have time to even think about a new phone until the next generation is around the corner and I'll get to go through all of this bologna again wishing VZW would give me a release date.

It has been fun, for the most part, getting to read through the thread and partake on occasion, but it is time to go.

Ugh... you'll be missed Mahalo Happy Turkey Day to you and your family.

Actually, your logic isn't sound. You literally reiterated to Ken7 what he was saying. Bugs will get worked out. They will get worked out on the Nexus. When they do, ICS will be better for it. When the improved ICS gets pushed to HTC and Moto, they will have better starting points. That's essentially what Ken7 said. The big question for many is this: Is the Nexus fundamentally better than the other 2 R phones? If ICS is the ONLY thing that makes it better, it's possible that one of the other 2 phones will be better in the future. I don't have the answer, just suggesting that it's a valid point.

At least someone understands what I'm saying...not just my wife! :D

It does and I really like the color of the Euro version much better. I don't know why they changed the classier color of the GMS unit. The thickness is probably dictated by the battery/hardware and is probably more than most of us expected.

It's a bad render folks. The colors are the same. Also it's the same picture on the UK version's tech spec page, so it's not even for certain it IS the LTE version.

Now I have to go back to that "Calling All" video again and take a second look.:confused:

Its not accurate because the one on the left is an angled shot so it looks way thicker and somewhat weird lol :p

The picture in the post above yes, but the link to the other comparison was the same angle. But man, why did they ditch that really classy color combo of the GMS unit????

Uh oh Guys, Google just updated the LTE version. Apparently they wanted to make sure that the battery life was good enough so they made the phone a tinnnnny bit thicker to comfortably accommodate a larger battery.

lol jk:p:D

en serio LOL! Looks like my Father-in-laws Eris I handed down to him and the ext battery he just got for it. He goes 3-4 days without a charge

Suddenly the Rezound is looking more and more attractive... I must be drinking too much beer.

he could, i could easily be mistaken, just thought that other than the one in the promo video used at the ICS launch event, we hadnt actually seen a verizon version in the wild

Didn't we see something a few days ago with a Verizon and 4g/lte logo on the cover? When we saw something about ordering the battery cover maybe?

He did not have the LTE version initially, he might now though. His "testing" was done with the 16 Gb version

I'm failing to find a post from a while back where someone compared my icon (I used for years up until a few weeks ago) to a hilariously serious air-guitar'er. It was great.

I can't find it, but I did find the picture he used.

Attached is my old avatar.

;)

one of my best friends is a 4 time regional and one time national air guitar champion (came in second at the World this year). I'd say it's an honor to be compared.

Just got something in the mail that you guys should be pretty excited about ;) let me open it and take a few pics and I'll post'em in a few!!

Gnex accessories? I'm not sure how excited I'll be, what with the recent rumors of a push to "before Christmas" or whatever. Sigh.

It is laughable at how inept Verizon is at being able to release a phone....its like going to mcdonalds asking for a cheeseburger and everyone working there looks at each other like what do we now this guy wants a cheeseburger how do we make a cheeseburger and make the guy wait 3 hours for one. I mean Verizon really you can;t handle releasing a phone? Your superior network will only take you so far people will get fed up eventually.....
