Wait!! Didn't someone say that Costco deal on the Rezound was for NEW Verizon Wireless customers only???

No, it applies to upgrades as well. I just went through the whole checkout process. It asks for your phone number, special account PIN, account password, etc. It's a legitimate upgrade. It comes out to $53 total, give or take a few cents.

Morning - Happy Black Friday....Hope everyone is recovered from the Turkey Day....

A Black day indeed with no news....Come on VZW!!! Release my new phone already!!!

Thanks! I'm off today, so I want to go check out those 2 phones. I still think I'll be back here later, but you never know. I just can't gt away from the updates straight from Google. That is what is keeping my focused on this beast. I hate waiting for updates, like I have on previous devices.

Hey Han..maybe Samsung heard you were waivering on the Nexus and foced Verizon to slip out that ad

Can't wait for the Nexus and the post record:D

I don't think we can read too much into the ad. Advertising is planned well in advance and do think it does not means much of anything.

Maybe vzw did intend to have the phone out by black friday though, but the ads were already said up and did not account for delay?

The article DOES say it's confirmed, but with a 14-day wait to ship. Which puts us squarely back to December 8th or later.

No pre-order here. I'll just be at the Verizon store 20 minutes before they open on that day and walk out with my Nexus. No need to sweat it everytime I have to go to the store, afraid I'll miss the FedEx truck. But you guys have fun with that :)

EDIT: BTW we need 47,904 posts to break the record! Almost there....

Unless the preorder price is $199 and $299 in the stores. :p

I don't really think that's the case though.

How far did you get? I put in my info and it wouldn't take it because I am an existing Verizon customer.

Correct me if I am wrong, but weren't all the other nexus phones $199 on release if subsidized by a carrier?

Maybe google is making them release the phone with this price to keep with the whole nexus line thing.

If this is true I will be happy because if memory serves me correct the nexus phones were priced at $530 or $560 with no carrier subsidization

Morning Nexolidians! Hope you can work off your feasting. I ran this morning and am already at work. Loooong day.

Today. We. Break. The. All-Time. Record. Period. :D

Edit: Top of the page! It's a sign! :p

I'm going to be out with the kids today so I'll probably miss the big event. (I'm not complaining by the way)

Congratulations ahead of time.

I'll be at the store as well to pick up my GNex and accessories.

My heart just skipped a beat when I saw Engadget's FCC Fridays post go up.

Then I remembered we were way past that.

And still no phone.

:(

Remember the marketing roadmap that showed ads for the GNex starting today. This is right in line.
