You have a good point with Matias's statement on The Verge... interesting how they haven't come out and said otherwise.

Which leads me to ask AGAIN, what is this loyalty discount. When I asked, before, I was told that it was probably a NE2 by another name, but if you're getting both, I want to know why I'm not getting one... because I'm the most loyal Vzw customer EVAR!
 
My wife is sleeping at her parents house tonight so she can go out shopping early with my mother-in-law. I have the house all to myself. I could go out with the boys, hit the bar, but noooooooo....

I will probably stay home and F5 this thread all night :o:cool:

Verizon sent me a card in the mail for a $50 loyalty discount, and 30% off accessories. It has been burining a hole in my wallet for a week or so. I think I'm just going to use that instead of the Living Social thing. I doubt they would let me combine the Living social with what they are already giving me anyway.
 
The living social deal is great, but be aware it's only usable in certain stores/telesales. Not usable online or in Verizon reseller stores. Pretty much killed it for me as I will likely get mine online.

Yeah I kinda thought the same thing, but I am going to be spending money at a Verizon store at some point...and to get 50$ worth of stuff for only 25$, I can't pass it up...

it may be the same as the ne2, but i don't think so. it came as "coupon" attached to a VZW mailer...

So this is a little off topic, but I tried signing up for the Premium membership. Unfortunately I don't have a bank account at the moment, so I've been living off gift cards to use for online transactions. Paypal doesn't like those :/ I'll have to get my donation in another time!

I have the same thing, but mine is for $50. It also says on the back 30% off accessories. That is odd that they have different ones. Maybe it has something to do with how long you have been a customer, not sure. :confused:

I have been! I never realised there was a donate option...lol I just assumed that stuff was for long standing members or something. Whoops! It's okay, soon I'll be able to contribute.

i think it correlates to how much you pay for your monthly plan. i've been grandfathered into a pretty cheap unlimited family data plan thru Alltel for years now. since i'm not paying "VZW prices" for my plan, i guess i get less of a discount than others.

but, i'm still hoping this $30 is in addition to my ne2 discount that i haven't used yet for upgrading my OG. i've been eligible to upgrade since Aug. i'm pretty sure that this last ne2 is good for 6 months after i'm eligible to upgrade (i.e., until feb '12).
 
Checked into my local VZW Store this afternoon and asked if they had it. The guy said no and does not know when they're getting it, but mentioned that they have cases and other accessories in the back just sitting there. So its imminent. Verizon is clearly putting red tape all around this. December 8th is looking good. Gives them 2 weeks to close out the Rezound and RAZR, so all we need to do is sit tight.

Oh. I have one of those, too. I'm not gonna get my hopes up, since people with $50 NE2, got cards that say $50, and those of us with $30 NE2 credits got cards that say $30... but I'll bring it with me and be pleasantly surprised if it gets me another $30
