I must say, $199 for 32GB would be pretty damn amazing. And assuming Samsung supplied their own flash storage for the device, I see no reason why they should, or would, charge an extra $100. That price point would be super-competitive for such a super-phone :O

What ad/leak? I must have missed that one. I don't think they would price it $199 with 32 GB of storage. Perhaps for 16 GB, but I thought the 16 GB model was debunked for VZW/US launch? I'm torn as to whether I'd prefer to keep $100 in my wallet for 16GB or spend the extra cash for 32 GB. I'm barely touching my 16 GB SD card in my Dinc as it is.

That's a good question. Both my primary and alternate lines were already unlimited, so mine's an easy case. I would guess(?) that you could follow up with a call to Verizon to keep the same number of unlimited lines as you have now (and transfer them as needed), but I don't know what happens if you initially order the phone on a line that doesn't already have a monthly smartphone data plan -- whether that adds an extra data plan that you won't end up needing.

Sorry I can't be more helpful on this. FWIW, 3G versus 4G has no bearing on any data plan upgrades (they aren't categorized or priced separately).

Hey Yall. I am getting spoiled after having to take care of my children today prevented me from following along, only had a couple of pages to catch up on. Looks like not much news. I have some optimism about cyber Monday. Release seems unlikely, but an announcement and Pre-order could happen. Well I'm out again. Sorry for the post and run.

The camera is not the same as the OG droid that's for sure. The shutter button is stiff and has no focus lock detent but once you get used to it developing a way to keep it still because of the stiff button the images blow away my OG Droids camera.

The launcher has this weird icon highlighter effect at screen changes that makes me only want vanilla even more.

The phone is very fast.

She deserves it. If you have a teenage daughter that is a straight A student in the advanced classes, does not lie, steal, complain, sneak out at night, smoke dope, or is pregnant, get her any phone she wants.

Yea every girl in my grade. *10th* have iPhones most havent even heard of android ahah.
 
So... I hate to do this, but anything new today? Last time I checked in (this morning), the chatter was about the "leaked" Verizon ads...

Was the Galaxy Nexus released and did everyone order one without me? :D

This. Anything new? Last time I checked was about 50 pages ago (feels good to not be strung out on this for a little bit...).

Street price on a reliable 16 GB Class 10 card is 1/4 of that difference, about $25.

I can't see the value in another 16 GB for another $100 myself.

I had to read it 2x to realize you made the change. Very true though - at $199 or $299 I will be getting my GNex as soon as the store opens.

I knew that 400+ hours of vacation time would come in handy :)
 
Personally, I don't see how this phone is going to be 199 with 32 gb. Don't get me wrong. it would be nice, but I don't see it that way. Considering the other two phones that are out, the ReZound and the RaZr? 299 each subsidized? I can't see this one lower.

I thought so too... But Blockbuster comes preloaded... and backup assistant... those apps are priceless and they drive up the costs ;)
 
after last nights initial leak of that advertisment, has anyone else been able to find it online today or has it been pulled?
