Anyone here watching the Steelers/Chiefs game?

During the commercials I saw the Verizon Cyber Monday tablet ad at least a few times. What is weird about this one is that two un-named cell phones are shown to blur past while the tablets are named in between in the lineup. They are definitely not either of the R-phones because they have curves at the top and bottom. Is it just the Stratosphere...or some other more anticipated Samsung??
I would love to see this commercial in slow-mo to know for sure...

I apologize for quoting my own post, I found the ad online on YouTube, and I think there was nothing to it. The phone I think I couldnt recognize was the Pantech Breakout, oh well. Sorry to get hopes up.
 
So let's keep it simple around here. We are all upset that our phone isn't out yet. Instead of taking it out on one another, let's kick back and enjoy this. Truthfully, when the phone comes out, we lose this amazing anticipation. It's like Christmas all over again. I'm checking my email, texts, and forums every day. It's like waking up at 5am and seeing if Santa came.

And eventually, we will find our December 25th (hopefully before December 25th..;)). When that day comes we will rejoice and try to unlock our phone with funny faces ALL DAY LONG!

So how about this: Let's mutually agree to respect one another and enjoy this last ride. I know one thing for sure, there will always be a better phone out in 6 months. So I'm going to get my pleasure out of this one while I still can! Verizon cannot bring me down.

Maybe all they have is the red Dinc2s.

Here's a question:
If Samsung and Verizon only made the GNex in red would you still buy it? ;no fair if you are planning to use a case that would cover it anyway.

I don't know about you all, but I have been following this thread from the very beginning, the wait has been torture. This is especially true because I was one of the people waiting to upgrade to the bionic in the hofo prerelease thread. Delays ensued and by the time it was out, it was disappointing and I was hearing of a magical nexus device on Verizon (Then the Nexus Prime). This trip has lasted well over a year! I am not going to do another thread like this for a while.

I am going to get this phone no matter what the SGS3 looks like!
 
Well, this is my last post in here. No disrespect to anyone, mods included. But more out of respect for the man who made this thread besides Steven. Steven, your dedication and excellent moderation of this thread has been and will be recognized in the future. I have no dog in this fight, other than loyalty to whom I believe made this thread as epic as we all wanted it to be. To this point, the moderation of this thread has been top notch, and we should all be thankful for that. Good luck to you all with your Nexuses. I have to do what I believe to be right, and that means, I can't participate here any longer. Bad decisions were made, IMHO, and I choose to move along. The wait is almost over! Rejoice and think of Han when you have your GNEX in hand. He posted more about it than I could ever post in a year, and maybe that means nothing, but I'm a "nexaholic", and I stick up for those whom I believe in, regardless.

You are correct! I just looked at the ad again and they have the words "Red Version" beneath the title in small letters.

Don't ya just love that small print! :eek:

Only in red, not a problem. If they only made it in puke green I would still buy it but it would need to have that cover.

And as for this, "foul-mouthed humor/banter/slander/insults/etc.." not entirely what I was referring to, there are respectable forums out there, with people that can look past something they don't agree with, or find offensive. But not necessarily a never-never land place where everyone is always going to eat rainbows and poop butterflies............

Oops, I said "poop" I'm sure this will be deleted soon too.
 
I think the delay is on VZW because of the new OS. If the Nexus had Ginger Bread on it, it would have been out six weeks ago.
I think there is some kind of issue with ICS and VZW's apps. Plus ICS maybe a big risk for VZW's network policy.
 
Ok fellow Nexis, gotta get some sleep, reset, and get ready for a fresh new week. I would say I hope we all wake up to the news we've waited for almost 4 months now...but i really don't expect it, so instead lets all dream of it happening instead, lol!!
