Steven, your dedication and excellent moderation of this thread has been and will be recognized in the future. I have no dog in this fight, other than loyalty to whom I believe made this thread as epic as we all wanted it to be. To this point, the moderation of this thread has been top notch, and we should all be thankful for that. Good luck to you all with your Nexuses. I have to do what I believe to be right, and that means, I can't participate here any longer. Bad decisions were made, IMHO, and I choose to move along. The wait is almost over! Rejoice and think of Han when you have your GNEX in hand. He posted more about it than I could ever post in a year, and maybe that means nothing, but I'm a "nexaholic", and I stick up for those whom I believe in, regardless.

This post makes me want to barf and laugh at the same time. And in saying that I mean no disrespect to you. I admire your overall fortitude.

I'm headed to bed as well. I'm going to dream of a big party with all my friends who are waiting for the Nexus and an announcement from Verizon that they are giving them to us for having not killed one another during the wait.

I don't want to bring up discussion on this topic again, but:

Gonna convince my sister to get this tomorrow (using my mom's upgrade) and then my mom will have to wait a few more months to get a new phone... she won't even want the GNex by the time it's a few months old.
 
So we actually thought that VZW would announce a new device, with the surrounding hype this phone has, on the eve of cyber monday?? lol. Just saying it would be a bad business decision to announce a new product on the day of a HUGE sale. It would practically be shooting themselves in the foot.

Not saying they wouldnt but I think it seems more realistic to see some sort of announcement either on Tuesday or maybe even early next week. (if they plan on releasing it on the 8th/9th that is)

But then again... Who knows.

No I know what your saying thought. The conspiracy theories surrounding the "delay" is funny to read sometimes. I know the black friday ads would suggest otherwise, but I personally think VZW has strategically thought out this release. But then again the T-Bolt and bionic were a jumbled mess so who knows.
 
I can't speak for anyone else. But I think the conversations we're all seeing are based on frustration. How many DIFFERENT comments can we make about a phone that we can't get? Let's see... hope, excitement, frustration (did I get them all?). It's like exhausting the conversation on a first date that we know isn't leading anywhere. Now, all of the conversation gets less and less friendly. Why? Because the people we want to vent on are now in their beds, getting ready to go to work Monday and play with our feelings all over again.

I think the problem here is as soon as someone tries to sway the thread in a positive direction, a few ignore it. Enough to bring everyone else back down. This isn't a problem with the mods or admins. Everyone naturally has the urge to voice their input, but in this case it's better to forget about it and move on.

So a how 'bout them Nexi?
