***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

You should be able to tell from the website if you have a discounted price available.
Hm, I never log in to the site, but I just went and checked. I'm on a family plan with some of my relatives, but it looks like at least one of our lines has had an upgrade available since October 2010. I can probably use that one.

Eh, just another regurgitation of the Droid-Life leaked map and the sketchy Business Insider piece.

They aren't going to take away peoples unlimited data. You just won't be able to get unlimited data anymore on contracts and plan changes after March (which is a speculative date but just being used as reference).
You might be right, it seems I've misinterpreted the language. I guess I just assumed that anyone who would still have been eligible for grandfathered unlimited plans would have upgraded by now, since Verizon enforced the tiered plans quite some time ago. Well I guess that's one fear alleviated.

Sorry, didn't mean to yell. Just trying to make it stand out amongst the clamor. My post wasn't directed towards you, it was just the last one I saw referencing the same "leak". I just find it unproductive and even somewhat misleading to speculate on something posted by some member on a forum since there is no other confirmation of this.

No worries I see where you're coming from.

Hopefully also by then I can find a keyboarded smartphone my wife will like. She loves the Rhyme, but can't do virtual keyboards. At the same time, she hated the ally and feels the keyboard on the Stratosphere is too flat. Even though the Droid 4 will be smaller than the RAZR, she'll still find that too large for her liking. And feature phones are starting to become an endangered species, it seems. The last phone she loved was one of the messenger phones on Cricket. ;)
Have you seen the Samsung Stratosphere? It's a little smaller, and is still a 4G LTE phone.

Yup. She abhors the keyboard. The keys are way too flat for her liking and she dismissed it seconds after trying to type on it. She's got an Octane right now and needs something akin to that keyboard. Heck, she doesn't even need LTE anyway. She's nowhere near a power user and the most she'd do is check her Gmail now and then plus check the weather. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

Heh, you mentioned it right in your previous post. I'm sorry! Sometimes I don't read closely enough. XD

If they only end unlimited when you renew a contract, I will gladly keep an extra line open, and use that line for upgrades, transferring the phone to my main line.

My best friend brought these to work today for me to try to take my sad away about not having my phone yet.
Still sad but chocolate makes it bearable. Lol.

I thought you were going to post a picture of an ice cream sandwich (or box of them)... if they did that, that would have been so mean! :(

Those look delicious BB.

Glad I am busy at work today to keep me distracted from this craziness. I just keep looking at my countdown widget and realizing December 8th isn't terribly far away.

First time, long time and all that noise. So, I gotta hand it to the group running the VZWSupport Twitter, at least they answer questions, even though the answers are very vague. I asked if they ever planned on launching the Nexus, to which they shot back a note saying an announcement was coming this year. This was discouraging, so I asked if that meant the phone was coming out in 2012, with only the announcement this year. They responded with "It is scheduled to be released this year." I didn't get a date or anything new, really, other than the fact that we can put to bed any thoughts of the Nexus getting delayed into 2012. So, there's that.

You need to trick 'em. Say something like, "Will the Galaxy Nexus be available Online as well as in stores on when it's released on Dec. 8th?"

BREAKING NEWS!!! 1-3" of SNOW expected tonight and tomorrow here!!!!

Folks...I live in ALABAMA....and it's NOVEMBER!!! If you told me I'd see snow before I held my own Nexus in my hands, I would've had you admitted to the nut house!

That suggests the phone will be released this week. Didn't someone in this thread say that the Nexus would drop in November when hell freezes over??
