Yes I have. In retrospect, I have the $50 loyalty discount from Verizon, plus $25 in free accessory money from Living Social. That's $75 off at VZW vs. $100 at Radio Shack. Only other factor is the Shack potentially messing up my unlimited data :eek:

SO: it's only $25 and I'll pay that for a Launch Day phone with a lot less hassle.

Verizon it is.

Can't you use the Living Social on a device as well?

That was me, and I just looked up my pre-order confirmation - I pre-ordered the Incredible on 4/19/10, and it said,
"PAYMENT METHOD: BILLED TO ACCOUNT"

As I said, it might depend on credit and/or Verizon account history, but I know for a fact it's not unprecedented.

It is becoming increasingly difficult for me to find time to keep up with all the posts here. I generally read 1 out of every 15 or 20 pages. There are simply too many useless posts. However I still look here for the first release of information.

Can we all please stop relaying everything the CSR's tell us? They don't know anything. They won't know anything until after we do. You're wasting your time calling them, but if you have to waste their time and your's, please don't post everything they say, because then you're wasting our time.

That's part of the problem. There are so many useless posts that I've started skimming for numbers in date format (12/8 etc). And with everyone posting what their "source" (a CSR who agreed to email them) says, I can't even do that anymore.

Although there may be an exemption for those who also call themselves dorks in the same post. Need a ruling here.

I almost asked the same question... and then realized why bother getting my hopes up again (echo: again, again, again...).

Me: i can only imagine, hopefully its on wednesday thursday or friday (i know typically its on thursdays) because i work from home wed. and fri. and have off thursdays, otherwise i'm at work all the way up north in somerset.

CSR: busy guy! i have a feeling there going to do pre-orders online. you probably wont even need to make a trip into a store!

Me: hey, i'm actually hearing rumors of a possible pre-order starting tomorrow (11/29) do you think thats at all possible?

CSR: street/forums.. as far as im concerned its still the week of the 15th

Well, i tried guys and gals. You may notice that in earlier conversation she mentioned week of 12/16 was mentioned in her training which sounded weird because that's like saying "week of Friday the 16th" which usually wouldn't make sense, but then in the most recent reply she says week of the 15th (15th being Thursday) so lets still continue hoping that this is incorrect and just take it FWIW.

FWIW PART 2:When I was on the phone with the VZW rep from Arizona she stated that there was no specific pre order/ release date in her system. She did offer to call me if anything changes.We have heard this all before,Just trying to contribute to this thread.

I was told by a store manager that the RAZR, Vigor and Nexus were not eligible phones because of their flagship status. This could change, but I got this info about a week ago when my dreams of having a Nexus at launch were dashed (the wife's LG Ally threw up on itself and I sprung for a Samsung Stratosphere; I was able to get an early upgrade exception on my ineligible line to make the purchase less painful (kept her NE2 for when I upgrade )). Careful, respectful conversation will often bring desirable results (read: don't yell at CSRs).
