Good Morning GNexers. Had 500 posts to catch up on, but no GNex. With 4.0.2 rolling out yesterday, I am currently inclined to believe that there is/was some issue with the phone, serious enough for Verizon to hold it up. But now that it is hopefully fixed, we will see a fast rollout by Verizon to maximize 4th Q sales. Maybe we will get an announcement today!

Although I'm optimistic about an imminent launch, lets think about the fact that they still have to finish testing on this build, right? It could take a day or two if everything is good, or could take another 2 weeks if something turns up funky still. I'd LOVE to know what the 4.0.2 build FIXED exactly and why VZ (apparently) waited for this build to be finished.
 
It may be unlikely but I don't think a preorder today is completely shot. I don't think they would start preorders without an announcement but we may see an announcement later today that says preorder now.

If I recall correctly, the last "insider report" just before the 17th was that 5 days of testing were typically required for a build to be approved. That was in anticipation of a Nov 21st launch.

Let's hope that yesterday's revision was minor, just enough to address whatever bugs were found the first time around, and it's smooth and F A S T sailing to release.

I think if they are already pushing the build it's been tested. Lab test would come before an actual OTA soak.

One thing someone mentioned was that P3Droid tweeted a while ago he had 4.0.2, so perhaps yesterday was more of an OTA, than a test build... It could already be ready to go...

You all realize that the 4.0.2 news yesterday was old news right? P3 tweeted he got it over a week ago.
