I just saw a Verizon Christmas commercial, they were still advertising the Samsung Charge and Stratosphere, so maybe they are pushing to release the GNex for next quarter sales...

Just to state again in case anyone missed it -

Last night my mom saw an AD in a Verizon Corporate Store for the GNex on the TV monitors.

I really don't think they would advertise the device IN a corporate store if they weren't planning on a release soon...

Just wondering if those of you that are having issues with your phones, have you tried to sbf your phones to see if that helps? May tie you over until the gnex drops. :)

@P3Droid Okay, so todays update gave my 4.0.2 a newer radio, and so far i'm seeing improvements in reception. VZW users, know that this gnex is getting better all the time.

this looks to be an actual update and not P3's build...i hope so anyways...hopefully this speeds things up!!!...one can only hope!!!

FYI: I asked British turbo about his source, here is what he said.

@britishturbo hearing from who? No offense intended. Is the warehouse stock credible and how reliable is the Dec. 8 predicter?

@Smith_Jeffrey reseller friend who ordered some yesterday. Credible source

That is so fantastic! Im always excited when I see a post from BT as he is a stand-up Guy and only seems to post when he knows its likely accurate.

Seriously if these fracking ******s push this thing to next year for their precious numbers I am going to do everything in my power to convince everyone I know to never do business with Verizon ever again. This is just stupid. I have a dozon friends (not on here crazy I know) that are all waiting for this phone to drop. They aren't blinded by Verizon's "it's the network" crap and would leave them if need be to get what they want not whatever crap Verizon tries to force feed them. I know I'll be long gone and on AT&T well before next year hits if they pull this crap.

OK rant over. I'm just so sick of hearing about their stupid moves to avoid release this phone.

I just want to hear SOMETHING from the seemingly catatonic Verizon!:D

Ahh I see so unrooted Fas?

My Inc gets -90 to -96 dbm inside the house. However, I don't have data/voice issues. sumsalty said the word I was looking for earlier "signal reporting". I guess what I was trying to say is my old obsession with signal dbm's was without purpose (not implying you are obsessing here).

Those 3G speeds with the Fas are slow. Glad to hear the Rez is performing well and I totally understand how you wouldn't go back :)

I went back and I miss 4G

No my Fascinate was rooted, but I've been out of touch with anything online for a loooooong time (about 10 months). When I moved the Gingerbread leak was just being talked about and was screwing up phones so I never got to do anything with it. The last two ROMs I did install either screwed up GPS or signal so I got rid of both and went with rooted stock.

Voice has never been my issue at all. Honestly, I don't talk on the phone enough to have it be an issue. :) I use the dBm as a reference for data speeds mostly. I know it isn't really that accurate, but when it takes a full 3 minutes to pull up the Google main page and you notice that you are at -110 dBm you can start to make some connections. ;) At -100 dBm I would mostly get 14 - 27 kbps. At -80 dBm I was getting speeds in the 500 kbps range. Like I said though, I was mostly in the -90s so that gave me the 100 - 200 kbps range. Oddly enough, I never had battery issues with the phone either. I'm not sure if mine just sucked or if it is the area.

Im stuck with verizon, their coverage is the only one that works around here. I don't see how anyone around here would use anything else. My trips around TX I have always had signal except way out west TX. Im self employed so it is a must that I have a working phone, which my bionic is not one of them.

Oh-oh! Naughty words and anger! Barney says this post is not so Super-dee-dooper. :( It will probably get deleted and who knows what?

Please keep it respectable, tone it down. Some of us here are so very easily offended................

I believe sbf is for moto devices and RUU is for HTC I can't remember, been since summer 2010 since I rooted.
