Feeling very nostalgic over old posts. Missing the old days (lol April). But that was before I discovered the lounge...

Do you ever feel that you're not really progressing, merely existing? Stagnant. My brain hasn't the capacity that I wish it did. I'm full of Office quotes and not useful information.

^^
I know what you feel.Sometimes I feel like a turnip like today .I do wish I can be an optimist like a friend I know .

Don't worry looks aren't everything. :p And I love your haphazard period placement....it's like you're flouting convention!

If the earth is constantly in motion, how does one come to a COMPLETE stop at a stop sign?

In the process of writing a paper for English. Finished all of it except the conclusion... the conclusion is my weakness. I always take forever to write the conclusion and they always are crap no matter what I do.

Oh yeah, I hear that. Most of the time I just say 'screw it' and basically go something like this
As you can see from {point one, point two, and point three} I am right. So now you know what needs to be done regarding this interesting topic.
Just wrote a paper tonight and my conclusion sucks. :) But, I figure the instructor will just find it a pleasure to read anyway ... or not.

LOL, wish I could do that, but no matter how great the rest of my paper is, if I use that conclusion it's an automatic zero for me because only 3rd person pronouns are allowed :P

And I have a D in English >.<

Ahh I hated that in English. I really don't think using the work "I" takes anything away from a paper. It always just left me saying things like "one must"... which too me just sounds phony.

I guess it depends on what you're writing about because I've never felt the urge to use I or any variations of I.

Good! That's how you're supposed to write an academic paper. It's not good to use "I" and there are plenty of ways to rephrase a sentence where you don't have to use "one" either. I find research papers the easiest because the ONLY thing you're ever talking about is what you've found. Your personal opinion has absolutely nothing to do with what you've found in your research since all of the information you need is there.

Haha I should of asked that when I got pulled over and ticketed for not coming to a complete stop while on my motorcycle. Apparently you must put your feet down for it to be considered a complete stop.

Math has this kind of beauty to it doesn't it? The most pure form of information. Everything comes back to math. Schools should really push math.
