Done the stairs bit, have a scar over my left eyebrow to prove it. Metal and everything. Phone ain't worth risk of bodily harm to me. Not quite that fanatical. Plus I think Verizon has bullied us enough, we should be able to.claim equivalence and get it anyways right?

There's a corporate store right around the corner from my office, but how would one differentiate new iPhone graphics from the ones they put up at the 4S launch?
 
Good morning G'nexers.

Seems like we are down to the final week -- I can't believe we have all made it this far without killing someone yet. It's been quite a ride and I wouldn't have had it any other way. This thread is absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to spend some more OT time with you in whatever thread comes next (GNex Lounge?), but this next week is going to be torture now that we know its true. I hope there is a presale so that I can have a chance of getting my device a day early and I would love for it to be $199.

I still think we will see some type of announcement today for some reason. My GNex senses are tingling.

I think we all would, but $199 is a pipe dream at this point. At $299 they'll still be able to sell some RAZRs and Rezounds, but with a $199 Nexus next to them, sales would screech to a halt.

I haven't been by a store in a while, have they still had iPhone stuff in the windows? I would assume they had taken up the space with Razr and Rezound. Or maybe the new graphics are holiday-based?

A little bit of everything it seems. Some think there will be some word today but others think there won't be anything new. I'm personally in the "nothing new" group but I would like to be optimistic.

Think I'm having "sympathy" pains from those of you that got pasted last night. Left work after two hours and now I'm crawling into bed. Could someone kindly PM me if anything earth shattering pops up? Thanks.
 
I talked to the lady at costco yesterday, she said rumor is
A dec 8th release, pretty sure she has been watching the Internet also.
 
Worth noting: Verizon's site has the 3-day sale ending today, and a 7-day ending the 5th. So we could potentially see something go up today/tonight about a pre-order, or possibly on the 5th/6th about the release.

I fall down the stairs regularly...sometimes I even fall UP the stairs...so I'm a pro. I'll take the stairs and my phone today, thank you.
 
at this point I'm just hoping that they release two different phones. 16GB/32GB since the phone doesn't have any removable memory. I don't want to pay $299 for 32GB. Please release a 16GB Verizon!
