I agree. I don't write it, I just report it.:)

Absolutely and we all are messengers here. Not shooting the messenger, just want to make sure everyone was clear on that is probably not true at all.

I think with a 12/11 BB release date (if true) then a 12/8 release on Big Red seems more and more likely.

Here you go. My daily driver.. love it.. 2009 Toyota Tacoma Sport

Ahhh the Taco, built right they can go pretty much anywhere!

I really like the idea. However, is it much more convenient than a scrollable dock that's in many 3rd party HR apps? The one thing I love about GoLauncher is the scroll up/down ability to launch apps. I can put my dialer in one and my bus/metro app in the other. Really helps to clean up the home screen.

Agreed, but I am definitely going to give the stock Launcher a shot. I know LauncherPro (my launcher of choice) isn't optimized for ICS yet so I would rather stick with stock for now until something better comes along or I am convinced of something better and I am always open to opinions.

Also got a gun rack in my back glass
Lol

This is the equivalent of reading smut in my books.

Well, I really think the first post should have a HUGE disclaimer as the first thing to warn folks of all the OT stuff. (I know it's there, but it should be bold and out front)

It is pretty prominent.

Try eating my bike then...:D

Total puddle on this one. You guys are killing me (in a good way)

So how many of you are going to use folders in your dock?

I think I might have Phone, SMS, Browser and Google Folder in my Dock (GMail, Maps, G+, etc).

What are you all thinking?

I am. Phone never gets a spot of honor though. Sms, games, email

This was my car until a few months ago...sold it. Don't even think I have a pic of my current ride. F-150 Supercrew 4x4 Lariat.

Am I the only one that sees a truck/SUV as a gas guzzler???

I drive a 2009 Corolla and recently convinced my wife to trade in her 2002 Jetta for a 2011 Prius. Granted, our daily round-trip commutes to work are likely a lot longer than most, but with gas prices I can't help but of vehicles with low MPG ratings as burning money.

Note: I do understand the idea of a "work truck" or if off-roading is your thing, a "play truck". It just boggles my mind as a daily driver... What do most trucks average for MPGs nowadays? 15-20 MPG?

Cars / MPG
I get on average 16 mpg in a 2004 Silverado 5.3L, but my commute is roughly 2 miles. It does suck on road trips though. $80 for a tank of gas gets old quick.

The Silverado is my DD, current project is resurrecting a '90 Toyota pickup, have a '68 VW Bug & '69 VW Ghia waiting for their turns. I love me some cars.

On-Topic: Seriously I can't wait for this phone!!!

Cool find!

But does anyone else think that watching all these videos will ultimately take away from the initial experience? I feel like I've pretty much seen everything.

I think it will cut my euphoria period down to only a few hours.

And the constant waiting isn't doing any favors. I'm worried it will be a total anti-climax.

For me personally I savor every video and save it to my favorites only because this will be my first ANDROID phone, and I am afraid I will be overwhelmed and it will be too much for me to handle. This way I can go back and watch the videos and, of course, ask you guys any questions I might have!

Off topic, might not be tasteful:
I think addiction to Nexus-related stuff is going to result in decreased phone-pleasure for me. :(
In all seriousness I appreciate learning as much as possible about the Nexus and ICS so I can hit the ground running when I get the phone. It's going to be hard enough on my marriage when I get my new "mistress." :) Jump starting my education will make it easier.

Instead of "porno," let's call this "foreplay."

I think what Kellen is saying there is, the person who is attempting to start this rumor is an idiot.

edit: and he confirms that with this

"And when I say facepalm, that's because Verizon doesn't use Carrier IQ and no way in hell would a Nexus have it. Come on folks."

You are exactly right. He just verified that in his next tweet.

Edit: Ninja'd in what I quoted!

The stock launcher does look great. I actually liked stock Blur on my Bionic (:o) but have really enjoyed GoLauncher (was a huge LPP fanatic in the past on my Droid). Mostly I like a bit of the theming that's thrown in.

Engadget is reporting the latest rumor of GNex arriving at Best Buy on the 11th. Possibly indicating a big red release of 12/8.

Does Best Buy usually release phones a few days after Verizon? I don't know what they did for the HTC device, but I thought they sold the RAZR at the same time.

They are complete gas guzzlers but i drive 2 miles to work..only put 5500 miles on my truck last year. I drive more to play ball during the summer than i do for work all year. i get 11.9 highway. gas isnt really a big deal with the miles i drive so i dont even pay attention...until i have to fill up every third week. if i had to drive far i would consider a second car as a daily driver.

So now it's the 11th? Oh, what's a few more days, right?

Haha, I know you are joking, but for anyone thinking it really could be delayed because of this info... Let's just remember how awesome Best Buy has been on the details of this phone so far. What's it called again? :p;)

Another Hide Tag!

my tacoma v6 Auto gets about 20-24mph consistantly. at fillup from when my light comes on, takes about $45. Not too bad on mileage considering 230 horsepower and the amount of work it can handle and the reliability. Most people get trucks as work horses or because of their superb reliability. Not bashing other Toyota/Hondas on how good they are. I had an 09 Corolla and just find the truck overall much more enjoyable driving.

Cheers to the nexus soon!

Was going to go the best buy route for the 2 year "insurance" (if i brick it or drop it etc, replaced for free). So that brings up the where do I buy this from, Verizon or Best Buy?
