Pics of said case? Was it specifically for the LTE version (added thickness)?

I'm just hoping Verizon stores get it first, launches, and then Best Buy catches up the next week. At this point, I'm just taking every new date that shows up with a large dose of Salt-

Yup, both have sucked, and this gives me a little more optimism. Albeit, UW has done a better since their 0-12 season. I was at school when we still had Akey, I was hoping he would have done well for you guys :(.

Now where the hello is my Nexus.

A buddy of mine played for Rutgers though, so at least I got to see a whole lot of real football when they were going to bowls in the mid-to-late aughts. Even took a trip down to Alabama for the prestigious PapaJohns.com Bowl. Always like to see the Knights do well, as well as Clemson, which should have been my alma mater if it wasn't for how expensive college is now.

This is why I would feel a million times better about the Dec 8th rumored release if Verizon would just put out a press release with a launch date. The fact that they haven't makes me fear that they still aren't sure when they plan on launching...:confused::confused:
 
Ninja'd multiple times on the link, but the description of the case says it was designed for the LTE GNex, so we should be in good shape. Now we just need a phone to put in it :D

edit: Also, the cardboard insert that came with the case says it's for the Galaxy Nexus SCH-i515 & GT-i9250.

Also Best Buy is not Verizon. Indirects have been known to get stock a few days after Verizon actually releases the phone.

I'm thinking this phone will start selling from Verizon direct fill and corporate stores or begin pre-orders on December 8th. Everyone else will get them later.
 
Is it sad that I refresh at lunch time of work just to see how many pages there are. It gives me a hint if there has been breaking news or not. It was 8 pages this time and I thought something had happened. :(

I cannot wait til I refresh and see 30 new pages saying "YESSSSSSSSSSSS!"

I'm with you on missing a Jeep. I had a 04 Grand Cherokee and then I took a new job with an 80 mile per day commute and the gas killed me. Traded it in for an 11 Hyundai Sonata Turbo. Love the car. It's a blast to drive. It's a little shaky in the snow, but that could be me not being used to having 2WD in the snow. I'm hoping to get another Jeep as a winter car at some point.
 
The only thing keeping me positive is the prospect of being able to play with my new Nexus when Christmas and New Years comes around. It's going to be an exciting holidays indeed. :D

I can attest to this. My screen name actually belonged to a coworker who gave this forum a try but left because it was too addicting. I was able to switch to it just by PMing Phases. He was very cool about it.

That is sweet. I almost went with red, but I've had trouble with cops deciding to follow me for no reason other than my bike was red and they probably thought I was going to go into warp speed. On a black bike, I get much less attention. Although I suppose that ups my potential for getting hit by senile old ladies. . .again. :rolleyes:

11/17/11 Update: Our case will fit both models. It was designed around the i515 (LTE) dimensions. Since the i9250 is less than a 1/2mm smaller it will also fit perfectly. You only run into issues once you get over 1mm in size difference on TPU cases. The pictures below are of the case on the i9250 GSM version.

it's an awesome book, I used to just read it for some of his stories. I love the old vw platform. It's amazing that so many are still around, and IIRC they still make them in brazil (maybe they stopped recently though, not sure). I love the look of the ghias! I got some nice seat covers (PITA to install but worth it once done!) from JC Whtiney, I assume they are still around (this is 20 years ago).

I know I've seen some stuff on vw groups in mn, I grew up near st. louis when I had my bugs, moved up here after college so I had sold the last one (really regret that!). I have checked out some shows here Welcome to Twin Cities VW Club

I miss my Jeep. It was a '84 Cherokee, manual, forest green. Never should have gotten rid of it. :(
 
I'm glad I pulled the trigger on a phone (4s). Wish I'd done it sooner. This release is a prime example in communication strategy breakdown. Especially in the age of social media, where messaging and brand perception is as much in the hands of the public as it is in VZW's boardroom. Assuming your customers are dumb and won't know any better no longer works. Solid communication and transparency is what currently sets businesses apart and ultimately wins market share. VZW should take a page out of Zappos, Amazon, SEOmoz, even Ford.

I'll still be rockin' android on my Transformer Prime, around 12/19. Asus was kind enough to give us a release date today :)
