This one is driving me real batty.

Couldn't find the jpg picture of the zedge backround.

I did notice something interesting: When I change the scene of my homepage to the stock HTC scene my backround goes back to the stock rainbow colors. When I go back to my saved scene the wallpaper shows up again. When I click on wallpaper though it looks through my pictures but doesn't find the actual image of the wallpaper I'm trying to find. This is a real real tough one to solve. I've asked in other forums through PM's and I really would want to solve this before I order my new Nexus. Thanks!

Yeah, we saw this a day or two ago, definitely an appealing option. Several of us agreed that we'd take the hit on phone thickness and price for a bigger battery if that's an option here. I wonder if we could buy a Korean battery on eBay or something if it's not available through Verizon? Would a Korean battery even work with our phone? I know the battery itself would, but would the NFC part cause complications?

Geez, sorry that you guys are having such trouble with your OG Droids. :( Mine is significantly slower than ever, and will have some pretty massive crashes, freezes, and FCs now and then, but it still functions well overall.
 
I think I have a problem when I keep signing up for Galaxy Nexus expecting a different response...and this gives me a twinge of excitement...

That also get's slightly more complicated with the current version of GV as it dials a different number for almost every call. You have to use an older version of GV to get it to work now or something like a call back.

I'll be testing out Groove IP on the Nexus if it gets solid data reception in my area. I may end up using it on my home droid since it is connected to wifi all the time anyway.

WOW, i never knew the changes called using a different number now. i am looking for an older .apk now thanx for the heads up. found 0.4.2.32 any idea what build number they changed it in so i can find a prior build?

If one week is the case, then if there is a pre-order, we'd see it within the next 24-48 hours. I would think we'd be seeing the emails from Google and Verizon as well. I'd say the next 24-48 hours is crucial if we see a release next week on or around the 8th.

I was just going to post that...It works by calling your GV number (should be free) then i calls the number that you picked in your contacts.. Works great.

I use VoiceChoice, I think it does the same thing.

Also if you want to do it the long way. You can just dial your voicemail for GV. Hit the prompt to make outbound call... then dial the number. But the app makes it much easier. It does however take about 10-15 seconds from the time you select who to call, until your actually connect to the caller.

I've tried most of those and had one on my last phone (GvMyNumber), but using the older version of GV is just easier, IMHO.

ahhh, makes much more sense now. i suppose i assumed that if i had the box checked it didn't matter what number i used. so dish out the GV # to everyone.

In sum, you should be able to send and receive solely through GV and avoid having to use std messaging completely.

that's what i'm hoping for... save antoher $20 a month. but if your regular number works still (ie not the GV #) how do you avoid getting charged for people sending your texts to you main #?

Every night at midnight we should pop a bottle just because we are 1 step closer. Instead I'm drinking 8 red bulls a day to stay awake for the release. lol

0.3.4 I think. It still uses a different number other than your GV number, but it stays at one constant number. Any version shows your GV number on other's caller ID though.
 
Alright, got a project I actually need to finish at work before taking a long weekend. See you all outside of office hours.
