Hey, i was bored :)

I went way too far before I realized I could just quote your post and find your message must faster ;)

I was one of the people that was getting really frustrated with P3 a few weeks ago. We were all expecting the release on 11/10 and 11/14 and 11/21, etc... He was the one saying not gonna happen... mid December. And I thought that he was just trying to be a killjoy... I really wanted for him to be proven wrong. But in the end (almost)... he was spot on when everyone else (Source, Hannette, etc...) was not. I'm not dissing the other sources; they shared what they knew to be true... just saying that P3 ended up being very credible/accurate. Yes... he has a way of getting under your skin... but he also seems to have some very good inside info.

There was an end? I gave up somewhere in he 40's when I lost count.

I sure hope the forum doesn't have to pay per Hide tag. :)
If only they got ad clicks with them, they'd be super rich by now!
(Come to think of it, they might after all, this must be why Phases tried to "keep the thread cleaner" by using hide tags ;))

It's easier to read if you quote the post

Edit:
Damn, Ninja'd

Okay can we stop with the rampant hiding

He lied about getting 4.0.2; that is, he said he had it before it even existed. Make your own judgment from that...

And I'm just trying to prevent people from buying into his obvious trolling. It's disgusting how many people believe him and he has no proof! He doesn't have 4.1.0, I can tell you that right now with almost 100% certainty.

First, you are confusing what he has with what he is willing to share. They are not the same. The fact that he refused to respond to your baiting (hardly surprising) does not tell us what he has.

Second, calling him a liar is a big claim and totally inappropriate if you do not have the evidence to back it up. So what is your proof? Are you willing to hold yourself to the same standard to which you want to hold him?

Well then I guess I'm not telling you not to believe him, but I'm strongly suggesting you don't believe him, because he's just making stuff up and he has no evidence that 4.1.0 even exists. I have better proof/reasons that he doesn't have it than he does that he has it.
How do you know what evidence he has? Do you have internal contacts with Samsung and Google to back that up?

Do you know who the other members of TBH are? Do you know what contacts they have with phone manufacturers? Have you thought about how they have engineering models of LTE phones?

I am not suggesting that you mindlessly believe everything he tweets. However, if you do your research, you will find that there is much more to the picture than what you see in his Twitter feed. As someone posted earlier in this thread, read more, post less. This area was new to me, so I did. The information that I found was enlightening.

Fine, I'll let it go. It's just infuriating that when anyone else posts info about anything Nexus-related people scrutinize it and "take it FWIW", and yet he posts a tweet saying he has 4.1.0 and people are on top of it without any reasoning to believe him.

It can be hard to do but its critical...critical...that you leave IRC behind when you come to the forum. They be two separate worlds. Especially with the crowd we hang with in our IRC of choice. ;)

Anyways, letting go of this topic... now :D

P.S. pre-order party in the IRC woot
I agree, why tweet it if you aren't going to tweet ABOUT it? Why do we care if you "have" 4.1.0 if you don't tell us what it's about?

Still drunk but, have to take the dog for a walk...

... I'll check in quickly afterwards for a surprise midnight miracle, otherwise, goodnight nexi-nese
(like Japanese, get it?... GET IT???, nevermind, see first hidden text...mmmm Tah-kwilla)

Because that is his "charm". Honestly, I believe him. I think that he is connected enough that he doesn't have to make stuff up for attention. He just screws with people by not telling them everything that he knows. Thus the love/hate that encapsulates P3.

4.x would be a major OS update, not just a bugfix or a new feature thing. Remember Gingerbread? 2.3.4 was the update that added video chat capability to Google Talk, not 2.4.

4.1 won't just have a "screensaver" (which is just the night clock judging by his picture) and new radios...

As someone who works in software testing, while not all software development cycles are equal...in my case a new version of our application is ready for testing nearly as soon as the previous version is deployed to production. So let's say we are ready to deploy 1.2 to production this weekend but developers already have a build for 1.3 ready to test that same week. A lot of times the new version will include only limited new functionality to test. The new version code then rolls out in the coming weeks as we test what's available and it get's added on.

So in P3's defense, it is not at all out of the realm of possibility that they are already testing 4.1 on development phones. A lot of times there's overlap on development and testing. It's how this business generally works.

Interesting night I see. Glad I don't tweet (is that the right term?).

The latest news is a possible pre-order next week with the 8th looking pretty firm thanks to otd source.

Have their been others as well

Hey, i was bored :)

I gave up and looked at the page source to see what you had to say. :)

Very true, but still, it IS odd that a major revision would be out already. I'm excited to hear what it contains. A screensaver mode sounds pretty useless.
