After getting an email that my TP preorder has been cancelled, I can't take any more tech related bad news. I need this phone to come out yesterday.
 
I can't see the 9th due to Verizon's Thursday history. RAZR launched Friday because of the 11/11/11 @ 11:11 thing. Rezound was an oddball Monday.

Who knows in the end, but it's possible corp stores 8th, and resellers on the 9th.

There's always going to be a better phone in a few months. A few months from now, I'm sure the hardware in the GNex is going to be eclipsed. I'd rather have your Bionic than my DX. ;)

You can always sell your phone and buy a GNex. There are plenty who do things like that. But it's going to get quite expensive, and some die hards are willing to pay that price.

I could see that. A lot of "sources" for sites like Droid-Life have turned out to be re-sellers, so that could explain the different dates we're hearing.

I actually like the December 9th date...It could happen because as Han has said, preorder dates vary for every phone. It could still be the 8th for preorders (I know, maybe a little weird, 1 day for preorders), but it makes a little sense, doesn't it?
 
what is the latest you think they would announce before an 8th launch date?
I would think if we didnt hear anything official on monday, it would not bode well for launch by thurs/fri/

One of the reasons I'm saying that is prior history that happened, plus there is a reseller who is claiming 12/9 ship date (negrielectronics).

Again, just speculation on my part.

no Preorder, latest official announcement could come on the 8th...although I'm sure there would be employee leaks. If we don't hear about shipments or other leaks by tuesday, I'd be very worried about a Dec. 8th release.
 
Oh my God. I'm out all day for business and we have TWENTY new pages?! :) That sounds like some really refreshing news. :)
