I was told by a couple reps before I preordered the Rezound that Preorders on Iconic devices don't get the $50. Can anyone confirm this?

Don't have time to read through all the posts to see if this has already been covered, but the Rezound isn't considered an Iconic device according to the rep I spoke to last night. If ya want the recount of the ordeal check my last post.

Haha, not quite. But seriously, corporate stores are supposed to honor the discount unless it is an online only discount. Loyalty or enterprise discounts should show up in store always.

It's all about the approach you take with your CSR. You must be a polite individual.

The VZ rep that helped me with my corp discount yesterday was excellent. It was like white glove service. The original business rep on the phone I was working with the last 2 weeks could have had this new account but I couldnt wait for her to call me back (usually a day wait for a response to any of my questions)

Good experience....I just cant wait for that first bill. I may faint....

Any advice on bluetooths? I was just doing some research on JAWBONE "Icon series thinker" seemed to get good reviews on Amazon..anyone have one of those or any others to recommend?

The best I have ever used is the Plantronics Voyager Pro+. It ain't pretty, but it is the best of ALL the dozens I have used over the last decade. Natural sound both ways and GREAT battery life!

Oh, and it stays on my ear.

iirc the sensor is a sony sensor, but its been a while since i seen the teardown so dont hold me to it

I love the majority of interactions I have with vzw CSRs. Just release the (phone!) cracked.

It is usually pretty quick to figure out how a conversation is going to go. But usually in my experience, VZW customer service is great.

I've actually met him. Long story short he sung my grandma happy birthday on one of his one man show tours about 10 years ago. Super nice and friendly and so talented! Love him.

I really want that car dock! I'm itching!

Oh and I've decided to steal my mom's beats headphones because they look better with a dark colored phone than the nicer Apple ones (the $70 or whatever ones in the little case). And then I can give the fruit ones to my boy.

good point, but i seriously doubt any large number of people will pull an iphone release type party and be waiting for 2 days or anything like that

I wish the nfc technology was more widespread. I was just naughty and did some shopping for me and it would have been nice to be able to just pay with my phone rather than have to bring my purse in and juggle that with the clothes.

Please release the Nexus from captivity Verizon. Do you want ransom? Cookies? Love? Coffee? What?? Let us know, we'll make it happen.

No kidding. It'd be nice to not have to carry around a big wallet and get away with a small front pocket wallet I could keep my id and a couple of buisness credit cards in with a small bit of cash. I'd love to get to a point I'm not carrying cash around.

I am actually on contract with ATT and was going to switch to have the 4G LTE and the Nexus.... But now with word that the ATT version went through the FCC im starting to change my tune a bit.

Plus with ATT I have unlimited data for like $26/month. Decisions Decisions....

I agree with halon. Unless you don't like them anymore stay with at&t for as long as you keep the unlimited

Yeah especially if you would have to break contract, just put that money towards the gsm model, and know that you will be getting the TRUE google experience.

I use the Plantronics 975 and I really like it. The battery life is crazy good and the charging case is a great idea. It says put when I have it in my ear.

I would break contract but I think it is like 60 bucks at this point not a major selling point for me.

Biggest thing is no 4G LTE in my area yet... And Verizon has a little better coverage in my area. But I know the smart decision is to hold off. At least for the time being.

But it looks sooo tasty....

I can heartily recommend the Rocketfish RF-MAB2 stereo bluetooth headset. They sound great, have fantastic dynamic range and last 10-14 hours on a 2-hour charge
