So my friend has a nexus one on t-mobile and is ready for an upgrade and a switch in carriers. He really wants the Galaxy Nexus, soon and with subsidy, so he's ready to move to Verizon. He's politely called retail and corporate stores every day for the past couple weeks just wanting info, but getting none in return, and instead trying to be sold the razr or rezound . He, along with everyone I know who is interested in this phone, is getting a little impatient/annoyed at the lack of solid info. I think he might have had a bad day, but today he told one of the reps that "no one wants the moto razr or htc beats *ff." And that "if people did want them, why are they not nearly as vocal as the crowd that wants the Nexus?" They didn't have an answer for that one. Also, I thought his name for the Rezound was pretty funny... and apologize if that was a inappropriate.

I can't wait for this phone either though.
 
thought I would share my awkward zed story of the day
Go to breakfast and waitress is some girl that messaged me on Okcupid that I have no interest in (and don't know IRL). So that's awkward to start, then my grandpa goes "she's a nice Jewish girl you should ask her out." How I didn't run out of the joint right then and there I don't know, at least it was the best table service I've gotten at that place

Then how about discussing what purse/bag goes with the phone???!! I've actually considered that if the GNex is too big to pocket, buying a small cross body purse to be my "phone bag"....am I completely nuts? :o

PS...don't ask my hubby how many purses I have! Just build me a new closet for them, k? ;)

(Since I want it for my phone, is this on topic or off topic? :rolleyes:)

I think a phone bag, as long it is Coach/Vuitton or similar, is just fine :p

Is anyone else disappointed the landscape dock doesn't have the hdmi/mhl connection? I guess it would be hard to do since the port is on the bottom of the phone but still...

I might not have all the Galaxy Nexus news - but i'll challenge anyone at fashion!

I'm going against everyone and saying wear the heels. Those are cute! However, make sure your clutch/wristlet/bag isn't as flashy as the shoes. Let the shoes be the focal point of the outfit.

In fact,a nice red or black clutch would go so well with this outfit. It's small so it won't take away from the shoes, and it will accent everything together.

Yes... I'll admit it. I'm a 26 year old male with some fashion sense. Ladies can either love it or hate it! lol

that's the purse. usually it is inside a bigger one but when I go anywhere it contains just the essentials and is easy to put on my lap

I'm going to check the 'votes' and see which shoe is liked more - I think it was the black boots. I figure if it was then if there's a next time I'll wear the heels to spice it up a little.

no fashion advice here, you wouldn't want it from me anyway. :D

i have never been involved in any situation that involved taking a girl out to dinner and then bringing her back to my house to watch a movie that didn't constitute a "date". many great nights have started out as nothing other than "expectations of friendly conversation." :p

at least you know we'll all approve of him, since he's starting with episode IV and all. :cool:
 
I had a dream this morning about getting the Gnex.

I was in my old 8th grade class croom, or something like that, and we were being sold some things??

I got a gnex and later found out another guy got it too. I had bought a case with it, contemplating keeping the case or not. It was actually a pretty nice leather case that didn't add bulk and had a belt clip on that worked well.

I remember the shape, it was kinda like a PSP... weird.
