Absolutely not!

I have noticed it on every Motorola device since the Droid X2 (including the RAZR) and my vision is perfect but there is no pixelation here whatsoever. I even brought it up super close to my eye (that you would never ever do) and was not even to make out the grid of pixels, let alone each individual one. Perfect size, perfect colors, perfect PPI, perfect everything! ;)

TLDR: This screen is the most gorgeous screen I've seen on any recent smartphone. :D

Better than the iPhone?

After you sign in to google when you first boot the phone, it will automatically begin to sync your applications. Go to the market, hit menu, and select "my apps". This will bring up a list of all of your apps. You should see a button to stop all. Select this and then manually choose the apps you want to update or install.

yeah, this is what I'll do.

Seriously?!?!? Steven goes all the way the New York and reports back on the phone and nobody bothers to send me a PM or anything?

You guys are mean.

Since there's no way to subscribe to just the OP, maybe we should make a list of who wants to be notified of breaking news. Like a phone tree!!

Posting from a Verizon Galaxy Nexus at the Samsung Store. Pics coming soon. :D

First post in this thread from a Nexus? Anyone know?

I have Friday off, and Thursday is ... flexible ... so unless there's a pre-order, I totally don't mind going to a store on whatever morning. I did for my OG, on release day.

I like the phone histories... I posted in a thread about that, in the lounge, or maybe the VIP section, I dunno... I didn't especially love any of the phones in my history, but I would like to see exactly what models they were. Verizon doesn't keep a history of that, do they? I know I started on Timeport (the silver startac) but I don't remember the model of kyocera or the crappy lg flip phones that had before my enV.

Nope, I pack everything well each year. Did have some not working, that is always the worst part, as I am kind of cheap when it comes to holiday decorations, so will spend an hour or to trying to fix instead of just getting a new string.

Also the icicle lights are the twinkling kind, adds a nice touch I think.

I HIGHLY recommend the 'light keeper pro'.
I thought it was so awesome, that after hundreds of purchases over many years on Amazon, it was the first review I ever wrote (5 Stars!).
I am cheap too....so I didn't even want to dole out the $20. But I had 4 icicle strings out, and figure if it worked, it'd pay for itself.
It worked on all but 1 set. Just take out a bulb, plug the little socket into the light keeper gun, pull the trigger a few times..and POOF... MAGIC...the string turns on!!!
If that doesn't work, it also has a voltmeter on it that you can run down the string to find out where the problem is exactly, and investigate farther.

What are the odds!? I just checked the 4G map for my home location. One block West of me 4G and one block East of me 4G...My house is right in the middle of a dead zone. The best I'll see is 3G. I guess I'll tell the wife to start packing because once I get my Gnex, I'll have a strong need for 4G speed!

Where can you find a map with that kind of pin point definition ?

Would an LTE Galaxy Note affect your decision to buy the Nexus?

Samsung Galaxy Note LTE made official - SlashGear

My only concern would be about the stylus and compatibility with ICS.

No way. That just TOO big in my opinion. Plus, it is a skinned experience. I have decided I want a stock experience from now on. I've had Sense UI for too long and I am done with it. Can't wait for my new era of Android to begin :D
