Yeah...however, this CSR chat is lended at least a little credibility from the fact that we don't have an announcement from VZW yet. I would think that if this phone were releasing this week, VZW would break radio silence.

On a positive note, I do have tiger blood... and Adonis DNA. Winning!

But how could that be when several members were 'told' by Corporate VZW stores they would have theirs by Friday. See what all of this means, nothing, nada, zilch. :rolleyes:

loved infamous, started infamous 2, but haven't had time to finish it, yet... it is a very comic-book-esque story-line, but they do recap a bunch of it along the way.

You are the first person I added to my ignore list! But only for a few hours, last night, and you're back off, now. Tone is hard to discern, online, but you were definitely coming off as argumentative. It was mostly so I didn't get sucked into an argument, and also just to test it out and see what the page looks like with someone on ignore. I guess, don't take it personally... but if you want to be proud of "biggest debbie downer," you can add this notch to your belt.
 
And once again the futility of getting and trusting information from CSRs. That is to say we shouldn't really put all of our eggs into their baskets.

The Dinc wasn't actively advertised on TV until a couple weeks after release if I remember correctly.

Nice, I read somewhere that micro-sims are the ones with a lot less issues as they are 2nd gen. probably fixed a lot of little issues and bugs. GN has micro too right?

With the majority odds I'm willing to risk the dissappointment and place my bets on this week. (FYI, if money was involved, I would actually make the bet). I'm not trying to be a pessimist, just a realist. If Verizon has no plans to release it this week (which is what they have done in the past with other seemingly solid leaks) then statistically speaking there exists only a 0% chance. I was just bothered by the random 90% assignment as I have taken a few stat classes and don't like randomly assigning probabilities.

We truly need help. In a number of ways ;).

But seriously, we need help in finding out when the phone is going to be released. Only Verizon can tell us that. So what is the harm in politely asking a Verizon employee when the phone is coming out. Especially the online chats, I have NEVER had to wait on hold for one of those, so I don't think anyone else trying to online chat is being delayed by our attempts.
 
Could be a very great week for me...the 49ers are killing it, the Penguins are playing GREAT and I might get my GN by the end of the week.

Yes next week is arbitrary but my job is a shift job 24/7 somewhat like hers and the shift you work and your weekends a lot of times dictate what 'next' and 'this' week means. I doesn't solve any issue w/ specifics just saying it doesn't rule out next week as in not this week or next week being this week cause she is going on her weekend today after work.

I think the issue is that compared with the utterly wild optimism of so many here, my tone (which I consider 100% realistic and down-to-earth) sounds like I'm being somewhat argumentative.

I apologize for that and don't mean to sound that way, but man, it just seems like some need to get a grip. You know the old saying "I got a bridge I can sell you"? I know everyone wants this damn thing, but the way people jump on what at least seems to me to be the thinnest of rumors, it's amazing.

And hey, it's also frustration on my part too. I just don't handle it as well as some of you guys. :)

More confirmation that nothing is known...called my local rep, told him I have two lines that I am itching to upgrade to the Nexus and wondered if he had a release date. They know nothing other than "release before Christmas". He said they have heard all the dates on the blogs and such just like us but have received absolutely no confirmation of any of them.
