Yep and in 2019 when it debuts on the Nexus 6, people will complain that it is such old tech and why doesn't it look humanoid like all those other Android models..To which Google will retort, at least it doesnt go AWOL and murder off-world civilians..

if i had the money i'd buy the gsm version and switch to t-mobile or att but figures i don't if i wanted to by the time i could get it the lte one would be available so i'm stuck either way

Regarding BGR, I've been F5'ing their site all morning.
I stopped following BGR after gellar started doing a daily diary of his Verizon iPhone for page hits. Never went back, and this won't change it.

OT tab stuff
I bought one really similar to that for my 10.1 Galaxy Tab. It's cool and all, but it was really making me nervous as far as offering protection. I can't tell if that one has the magnetic closure the iPad one does and that may help, mine didn't have that, but I decided that it was just too flimsy to offer protection (and if it's not magnetic it doesn't even always protect the screen), and if it wasn't offering protection then I was better off with a naked Tab. I have the
OEM bookcase case which is awesome, if they make one for the Prime like that then that's what I recommend.

No those came after the og droid was launched. The first droid commercials were different and then a few weeks later they came out with the droid does commercials.

I thought that could be the case as well. It was more of just a tease for the weekend before release (maybe).
Personally I don't think that we will hear anything until Thursday. Eyesopen or whatever his/her name made it seem like the phone will not be announced before launch day.

I remember the first commercials airing during the world series in 09'. So that would have been the end of october/early november. The ones with the stealth bombers dropping the packages.
