It is but sadly no 4g coverage in my area...yet...maybe in 2 weeks to the n'th degree.

No sir not drama. Pros and Cons were considered....moving over to VZW I lose unlimited date from ATT but a small wait for the Nexus, the con was a sacrifice I was willing to make. A business wants my money they have to earn it and VZW would have done that w/ this phone that is currently an enigma which no one can confirm will ever be released. I know that when I started the wait and in nearing the end of that timeline I called ATT and they want to keep me as a customer and offer some very nice perks. It is just business I have no hard feelings but VZW does what is best for them and I do the same.

and yes I am still here because I am still at work and I get off 2100 est so who knows I may still hear something.
 
Did anyone ever notice the similarity...

Maybe Hal is working against the Nexus.

Stores want crowds of people period. They don't assume that they won't buy anything, that's not how they design promotions. They design them for foot traffic and hope enough gather so that a certain percentage buy something.

This isn't a good sign. We can insist that it's not necessarily VZW related but you have to ask why a store would remove a device that would be on sale within the next few days?

GSM version is available for purchase in the US from resellers. My buddy already has one. Also just because it isn't for sale by Samsung directly, doesn't explain why they pulled the GSM version.

Fairly sure it was the OD because I scoffed at the adds because they didn't show what it was... then I found phandroid and androidforums... got informed and showed up on launch day.
For some stupid reason I distinctly remember seeing the ad in October when I was visiting my sister in Chicago... it wasn't released until November.

Maybe something to do with vzw's exclusivity?
 
Ok. So I went into a corporate store yesterday to pick up a razr and the sales person remembered me from last week when I returned a rezound. She said "are you sure you want the razr? The nexus is about to be released, we just had a traing for it today". I asked some questions about when, and she didn't have any specific information but she did say before Christmas. Im sick of waiting, I will get the nexus when it comes out, and I hope a lot of people return their recently purchased phones in favor of the nexus.
 
Re: removal of nexus from Samsung store.

Being optimistic couldn't it be that they are pulled because they are going to be displayed in Verizon stores in the next couple of days? Having people flock to display models that can actually be purchased would be better for Samsung and Verizon.

Trying to stay hopeful. Didn't claim it is working :(

Maybe because of verizon's exclusivity is why they took both down. i mean if verizon is supposed to be first one selling the nexus in the US and they had the gsm one there that could be against their exclusivity?

Absolutely wrong. Stores want people coming in period. The more the better.
 
Part of me thinks Samsung jumped the gun by displaying the Nexus, but then again it seems like a foolish decision to make without knowing the repercussions.

So why take the phone down after only displaying it for a weekend?

The theory of it generating to much buzz is crazy, really! To much business in your store?

I have to think Verizon ok'd the decision knowing it was only for the weekend... I just don't get what Verizon's thinking is. :(

You only get one return so you are stuck with the razr unless you pay full retail.
 
So I have been studying all morning for my final in a few hours, what the heck did I miss? All I am seeing is people saying it isn't releasing this week? What happened?
