I'm curious. If the chats posted by Steven today both say next week, meaning anytime after 12/12, where are you folks getting friday from. Friday is still in this week, the same week as today.
 
Just spoke with my rep again. He told me that everything was in the store. I'm assuming he was talking about acccessories but I'm also wondering if he was talking about the phone also. He was saying that everything he's been told is pointing towards a friday released. It was originally thursday but being pushed back to friday. He said nothing's been sent from gmail. But to sound like management has an idea of when it is going to be released. You guys to try calling to chattanooga tennessee store on gunbarrel road it is the corporate storea.
 
Did anyone get the smoke one? I want to know what you think of it before I order. I am also procrastinating because I'm hoping to find a bumper type case like the fruit has or similar to my case for my dinc

I Can only text and play angry birds seasons (don't ask why those 2 only, cause I don't know) on mine now....can't answer a phone call, can't do anything related to internet...like Gmail or browser....Yup, it knows!!

So I can see that now some of you happen to have doubts of the information I give you guys. Well like I stated from the very beginning, I am not here to prove my credibility or state my sources or pass anything I tell you off as official Verizon statements. I'm only here to help you guys out and state what I am aware of at the moment.

Unfortunatly, it seems someone from another forum was trying to pass themselves off as an official and take credibility for an indirect source, as a result we had to place a request for closure to preven further confusion. It appears to me that most of you guys are no longer in trust of my information and choose to question the posts I am providing you. Unfortunatly, I cannot accept this criticism any longer and have to require myself to prove all my statements.

And to those of you who have thanked me for my help, I would like to take this moment to express my gratitude. I am aware that you guys are a very dedicated community of Android users and we appreciate all the support you provide for us and your fellow peers. Thank you for being a very active part of the products and devices we provide for you. I expect this to be my signing off statement and I wish all of you the best. So the XDA guy who dropped the pics in the first place contradicts this statement from open1your1eyes.

Then the XDA thread gets shut down because of someone's (Verizon's?) "request".

What is going on here?
 
I just thought I would let you know that I have built a YouTube friendship with the guy that has posted the Verizon Nexus vids on YouTube. We have been messaging each other all week, he used to live in Indiana and has friends that live near me, anyhow I have been politely harassing him since we met, and he told me today that his rep is saying the 9th is the release date. He doesn't work for Verizon I know that much, so i assume he works for Samsung or Google.

Oh wow. I didn't know all that. So, you've worked in customer service, for a couple months at a time, for 4 years maximum?

Hmmm ... well, I've worked customer service full time for nearly 20 years. There is one particular question that I get asked multiple times every day. I can tell you, without equivocation, that my demeanor can sometimes reach to discouraging at best.

All I'm saying is that if people would stop harassing the CSRs that they wouldn't have to worry about one being nasty to to them when all they are doing is basically wasting their time ( and believe me, that's exactly how the CSRs see it ).

You're a part of this forum so you will know, probably within hours, when the Gnex is for sale. I'm sure you'll get one in the first batch - which, face it, is what everyone harassing these CSRs really wants.

My whole point is that everyone needs to chill out ( I've said it before on MULTIPLE occasions ). The Gnex will be here when it is here. Not a second before and calling vzwcs or poking around in stores will not change that. It's been stated that the Gnex will drop before the end of the year. Please, I implore you and all the others ... take that to mean anytime before 1/1/12. When it drops this week or next, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I guess that is to be expected. Well the guy that I have been keeping in touch with for over a month now just told me that "everything" was in. He knows I'm buying a ton of stuff from him ...phone..docks... spare battery. .. whatever's cool toys they have for the galaxy nexus... I may even take him a little because he's prof I did great customer service for me. :)
