Dude what are you talking about? I don't get a word your saying lol, I really want your explanation because you seem to know something we dont..
You're kidding, right?

24 months at $50 a month, pretty much what it costs to add a data line, is $1200 + $300 for the phone = $1500

So, no

EDIT:

Cancel your existing line, add ETF for the canceled line @ 350 and then you only have one line to pay.... so... $350 + 300 and you are in a new phone for about the same as it costs to buy it outright.

I buy phones off contract too, but in all reality what's the point? Not like your carrier is going to give you a discount for bringing your own device to the party. Your plan still costs the same. You might as well take advantage of the discounted price

I'm all for untidy endings (see LOST's ending, which I loved), but he's just in a totally different league. His endings come out of NOWHERE to smack you over the head (hand from the sky, etc.). I always feel cheated and that I wasted my time. Seriously, I get pissed.

The last book I read from him was Under the Dome, but I got kind of bored at around page 200 and looked up the ending online. Of course, it was a completely stupid one. Threw it in the trash.

Then a coworker recommended 11/22/63. He told me the ending wasn't a cop out, and that it was good. I bet him if I didn't like the ending, he'd have to use the book as toilet paper for a week. He agreed.

I lost. I owe him $10. (Still cheaper than the book retail.)

That's serious confidence on his part!

So one more thing on the NFC thing, apparently Verizon can't legally block the Google Wallet thing, for the reason I stated. FCC only allows carriers to block apps which affect their wireless services in a negative way. It would seem from Google's statement, that Verizon REQUESTED they not give access to the GNex, and Google complied. But the WSJ may be correct in that if Google changes its mind later, Verizon can do nothing to prevent us from using it. So we should really be focusing any campaign on Google, not Verizon.

You really have to love someone that throws out a statement like "If you don't have a Nexus in your hand in 14 days, then I'll eat my phone" ... but then doesn't want to back it up! Hell, I'm not saying eat the darn phone, but you better be willing to deal with the masses on the internet that will hold you to it.

It boggles my mind how many people throw out a bold statement, then blame people for harping on it. Keep it simple - don't throw out the statement. :D

True, but its kinda of silly to actually expect someone to eat their phone also. :P

Is that new? A couple years ago I tried that and they said that I had to upgrade the phone in the region that I purchased the original phone in unless I wanted to change numbers

Really?? My friend did hers in Florida and her account was opened in Jersey. Maybe she sweet talked them?

Me too. I hate the effin' vzw store around here. They replace one jackA with another even bigger ja. But the way it's looking, it will be different than it was with the TB or DI. I actually got my device a day before the stores sold it, I believe it was a Wednesday with the release Thurs. Not gonna happen here unless they do online orders tomorrow with delivery 12/8 or 12/9. I can't believe I'm gonna have to walk in there. They will not be allowed to touch the phone with their grubby, disease infested, snot ridden fingers.

Ugh - that's the answer I am afraid to hear.

Can we go buy it and say, "can I just leave, please? I like to activate it myself at home."

Looks like an 8 in the picture.
From the article: "December 8th arrival of banners, signs and other marketing materials for the world's first ICS handset. Our source reports that posters and all the relevant merch will be rolled out after close of business and the Nexus will officially go on sale December 9th."

farts read the article, it says 9th in the details of the article cmon guys, dont get lazy
I know what it says in the article. I'm just saying it looks like an 8 in the picture they posted. Look at the entire article next time. Don't get lazy and just read the headline.

And why are they saying December 9th when it says 12/08/11 beside it? Also...the mention of EVO 4G LTE is just...yeah. Not credible.
