If we're honest, it's been about 2 months of non productivity so another week isn't gonna make that much of a difference

Has anyone had that moment yet where they've convinced themselves they'd work extra hard at work in January? I know I have. Since the week before Thanksgiving, I've probably stopped just about everything I should be doing.

This Galaxy Nexus owes me one... because I need to bust my butt in January.

yep, i posted this about 100 pages ago, but it may as well be considered lost to the epicness of this thread. to keep apps from loading when switching devices go to settings -> privacy -> uncheck the boxes for "back up my data" and "automatic restore"

One other tip for managing apps is using the online site for the Market. I rarely ever use the Market app on my phone. It's also a lot easier if you have multiple devices tied to an account (I have 3).

They really bastardized that branding didn't they? I thought it was a cool concept when the first one came out, but I guess they had to justify the (assumed) cost of using that copyrighted term and slapped it onto anything with a battery and some BLUR...

Just keep your eye on the list in the market. It's the top banner on the android market website and after you hit the apps link in the app.

I just called 4 of my local stores hoping one would hold a Nexus for me on Friday. 2 of them would give no info, the other 2 "unofficially" confirmed Friday, but said they are not allowed to hold any of them.

On a side note, it looks like I'm going to have to order over the phone anyway. Back when I upgraded to my OG, they gipped me out of my NE2 (which I didn't realize I was elligible for at the time). So I need to try and get them to give me that, which the guy at one of the stores said they wouldn't be able to do in-store. So if there's no pre-order and ends up being a soft release, I won't be able to get it on day 1.

Hmm... Is getting it day 1 worth paying the extra $50? Will have to consider that.

December 9th definitely looks good for Galaxy Nexus, I contacted Wirefly about the Galaxy Nexus (seeing if they would offer any discounts to me as a FedEx Employee), they said they could not confirm a price but they would be receiving the phone on the 9th. I don't know how to post my e-mail, nor do I really want to for privacy reasons but here's the copy-paste text of what the rep said:

"Thank you for choosing the sales department. Yes we will be getting the
phone on the 9th don't know how much the phone will be however. I can be reach at 703-657-4325 if you have anymore questions

Premium and Authorized retailers only have access to accounts that are region specific.

As an exception, some of the larger chains of authorized retailers might have logins for other regions; however using these outside of the allotted area is very frowned upon by Verizon corporate.

BestBuy can do out of region updates, so if you don't have a corp store by you check them out. I upgraded at a BestBuy in New Orleans with a Chicago number when I got my fascinate.
