On a special occasion every now and then I may socially light up with a friend or have a cigar, but that's about it. These things (e-cigs) fill the void pretty nicely.

Congrats! I've been smoke free since March using the same toy. But if I don't get my hands on this machine by Friday I might pick up a few packs and burn myself silly!
 
Recommendation....

Ghost Armour or SGP? I have had neither but I really like the reviews I'm seeing of Ghost Armour.

Thoughts?
 
OMG OMG OMG!!!

Just got back from my local Verizon reseller and they had a GN mock!!! The sales rep was more than happy to talk about its specs (though I knew way more about it than she did, she knew more than I expected). I was surprised how nonchalant she was about letting me covet it for a few minutes... She couldn't confirm the sales date but said come back Friday.

It fits amazingly well in the hand, much better than the Razr, and the Rezound seems chubby comparatively...

Now I just have to deal with my wife who wasn't able to join me... she's ticked I was able to touch it and she couldn't! Now she's thinking of driving over there... :)
 
okay whoever posted the random android name generator, I just shared it with the entire android team (YES THE WHOLE GOOGLE ANDROID TEAM!!!) and they got a good laugh out of it
 
I have the phone numbers of the 5 closest Verizon Corp and Non-Corp stores written down and will be contacting all of them by Thursday afternoon at the latest. I now know why my girlfriend calls me a nerd quite frequently...

I think what a lot of you need to remember is that most of the people who work in these stores simply don't give a sh*t about something that isn't there yet. Their job is to sell what's on hand, not obsess over upcoming devices like we do. And a good amount aren't really even phone guys, it's just their job to sell these devices and they don't know or care about them beyond what the average consumer does.

I'll give you an anecdote of what I'm talking about. My friend wanted a new Windows phone, the Focus S, on ATT. So we went into the store the day it was released. The rep initially told him they didn't have any. We looked at him puzzled, we knew it had been released and shipped to the stores. We asked him to check in the back and sure enough, he comes out wiht the phone.

*THE REP HAD NO IDEA THE PHONE WAS IN STOCK IN HIS OWN STORE*

They don't know, don't care, and would you like insurance and a case for that?

I knew, but since this is the only limited time affair, I will hang out here until its over in a couple days, and then head over there. That and the Watering Hole (which I subscribed to today BB!)
