I noticed these changing hours earlier today. It was different last night as I checked to see if Anti could call his local store. So, at least on my end, it changed since yesterday nice catch
 
So with everyone going into their local stores and chatting it up with the CSR I figured I would stop on my way home and leave w/ nothing new to add.

The gentleman I spoke with I asked for by name because I had talked to him earlier and tried sweet talking him w/ a growler of great beer. Whenever you bribe someone and there is a pause you have 2 thoughts, you offended or you found the sweet spot. The beer was the sweet spot.

Not only did I get a all but confirmed release for Friday he asked that I call him a half hour before the store opens just to be sure he could stash one for me if there was truely a 'line' and then........yes then......out from his pants came the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. (no! NO! and um NOOOO!)

The enigma, the unicorn, the bigfoot....nah it was a Razor....

Ok it was their training GN and it was beautiful and it felt just right in my hand. We had to go to a corner of the store to play with it and it was just for a short bit but I was able to try the camera out and we compared his 4S photos to the GN. First super fast...I mean as fast as you can press the button shots were coming but although the WB felt off the sharpness outshined the 4S hands down. Time was limited so we went to wifi tether because I know folks here were curious. You select wifi hotspot (kind of hidden no 'icon', you find it in the wireless setting) and a little dialogue box pops up "checking for subscription" so yes out of the box you know the subscription for VZW. Last because they were packed we talked battery. He got it one day w/ 70% and played on it moderate to heavy for 4-5 hrs before it went below 10%. Not great but was also on 4G so I suspect battery life to possibly be a complaint for some hardcore users but I think normal folks should be able to get a full day+ on a full charge.

I havent yet. I really hate calling the stores. Im off tomorrow, and thursday morning and maybe friday morning too. Ill swing by the store tomorrow morning or so and see what i can find. Let me know what you hear, and especially who you speak too if you get any juicy info...

My store has the red hours for Thursday, Friday and Monday for all of December. I just thought it was holiday hours
 
Thank you jbdan! I am so bad at making a decision it drives me crazy so if I were to go into the store I believe I will literally spend the whole day having the two phones in my hand refusing to let go until I leave with one of them pulling my hair bit by bit until I am clearly bald to which at that point a camera is really not necessary as I will certainly not be taking pictures or going out in public. I wish the Nexus had the same camera features as the S2 :( it would certainly make my decision easier. But this community make the N.E.X.U.S Neverending Euphoric Xperience U've Seen in this GALAXY!

I live right outside Phoenix and talked to the corp store right by my house and they have them in stock and confirmed that Friday is the day.

Also on a side note I have a buddy who manages an authorized verizon reseller stand and he said he should have the shipment in tomorrow and if so to swing by after work because he has no problem selling me one early. We'll see though. He has definitely sold me a couple phones earlier than we he was supposed to but im not trying to be disappointed either. Ill keep you guys posted if it happens tomorrow or thursday.

West Coast is on the ball, even though you are in ASwho territory. We will be able to talk tech smack on Friday with our new phones.:rolleyes:

We sound similar ;) I can relate.

If your good with a camera/photography my bet is you'll be satisfied with it's picture quality.

Nifty. Kinda like the rather minor difference between the GSM and LTE versions of the phone. Not that much thicker. Might be the first time I ever pick up an extended battery for a phone.. always hated how the thicker battery and the door ruined the natural lines of the cellphone. Not to mention how it would make it more difficult to get out of a pocket.

Called the Cypress,CA VZW store and associate said they have no info as for pre orders, but took my info down and will call as soon thry have info.
